Latest Linkvana Feedback??

Hi

I'm a member of linkvana and I'm just wondering what your latest experiences are with linkvana. Have you obtained your rankings? Have your rankings climbed (due to only linkvana)?

I don't know if this is unique to only me, but I'm experiencing a gradual slow drop in rankings...even though my linkvana queue is never empty.

Any feedback??

Regards,
Reinhardt

I use linkvana to push my articles ranking on Google, both my site and articles site.

I don't think any of the blog networks is good for increasing the site ranking, but they sure work great in ranking an article that get me a lot targeted traffic.

Angela's and Paul back links is my favorite choice of increasing my site ranking, I do it every month!

Linkvana definitely works for increasing any site's rankings. I went through one of the blogs in their network and compared the anchor text keywords with some of the websites that have their links on the blog and most of those sites rank in the top 10.

I'm just wondering about lately....because I have seen a gradual drop in rankings and I'm currently only using Linkvana.

I put up a small site last summer to sell a "learn Spanish" Clickbank product. After the initial setup, I wrote a few posts linking back to the site and submitted them through Linkvana. I then moved on to other projects.

About three months later, after doing nothing else significant to promote this site, I checked my stats and noticed that I was getting hits from Google for numerous inquiries related to learning Spanish. I also noticed that this site had moved from PR0 to PR2. I have to attribute this to Linkvana, because I did no other article submissions or anything special.

I looked at many of the sites that were linking to me. I found most of them to be very plain, generic blogs set up with multiple categories to post in. Here is an example of one of them:

      letmykidplay.com

These looked like blogs set up with automated software solely for the purpose of SEO. I feel sure that's the case, but apparently it works.

I noticed this too. Here's another one.

Which brings up a question: Google likes to see links coming from relevant sites (sites with similar topics to yours). But these sites are totally random, full of articles with no particular topic at all. So how/why does Linkvana work if the links come from sites that have nothing what-so-ever to do with yours? I don't get it.

Eldon, you are right. The link you gave is a blog inside the linkvana network. That's how they all look.

Do you still retain the ranking for your keyword?
And if you have achieved success with them why have you not done more promotion via their platform??

I still have rankings for some of the keywords I targeted. I only used Linkvana for a couple of months, then dropped it. I really didn't think it was all that effective, and I was concerned about how long any results achieved using it would actually last.

Later, I did find I was getting traffic and ranking as a result of using it even just briefly.

I may use the service again at some point.

it looks like they are offering a $5 5 day marketing ploy, can you really see results with LV in 5 days?

The only time that Linkvana has failed me during my few months of membership is when I stop posting articles. Thankfully I haven't seen any sort of widespread drop in my rankings or anything like that. Keep us informed if you continue to see the decline or if you figure out what is causing it!

Probably because of the total volume of sites in the network. My speculation would be because there's just so many blogs/backlinking sources in their network that as a whole it counts as a fairly significant factor in ranking (as opposed to having only a few of these types of links to your site).

With that being said, one single link with high PR and very authoritative/relevant will more than likely be as effective as hundreds of these blog links sprinkled over time.

That's the name of the game.

The price you pay for free organic traffic is complete lack of control.

I'd go for the LOTS of butt kicking.

Anyways, It's always smart to do many different things, to make sure your rankings are good. Suddenly Google might slap your website if the only SEO you have done stop working.

    UPDATE:

I have seen CONSIDERABLE ranking drops today and I'm talking severe rank drops (from page 1 or 2 all the way down to page 50+).

The only backlinks is from the linkvana network.

    Anybody else report the same?

    1. the domains that are getting the incoming links are all at least 5 years old.
    2. I have been getting linkvana links for about a month or more now. And yes...a month is enough time to see ranking changes.
    3. It's been almost a week now since the de-ranking. Usually a de-ranking is only periodic while google goes through a shuffle, but this one is overextended in my opinion.

So what's the verdict on Linkvana?

Worth it? - or - Not worth it?

I was involved in a similar thread a month or so ago regarding the effectiveness of linkvana, and after much continued thought about the service, I think I've reached the decision to drop this service, at least for a few months to see if it has any effect on my rankings.

I've been with Linkvana now for several months. In one particular niche with well over a million search results, I originally had multiple rankings on page one. A couple of these rankings steadily dropped to page two despite my consistent use of linkvana.

Linkvana is not my only source for back linking. In regards to two of the sites I mentioned above which have been dropping, when I began to add in linking from Angela and Steve's sources, these sites are now rising and one has reclaimed page one again.

I also recently began using My Article Network, I've only added 3 articles so far but this also may have contributed to helping my rankings as the articles when I last checked had each been picked up in over 20 blogs each.

I don't debate the significance of using linkvana because I do believe it is a great resource, especially for lower competing niches/keywords, but these days with resources like UAW, Free Traffic System, My Article Network, and the recent wso linking packs, all of which are much cheaper, I don't think linkvana is as "special" as it used to be.

So in my opinion at the moment, for those considering linkvana, there are now some very good alternatives to the high monthly price and arguably these alternatives have the same ranking power as linkvana.

This is surprising to hear since Chris Rempel speaks quite highly of it's effectiveness.

One thing I know for sure: Google dances around. And when you're in the middle of your backlinking campaign, your rankings WILL drop for a while while Google re-evaluates your site to determine where He's going to put you next. Are you 100% certain this is not the case?

I've been wondering the same thing.

I know for a FACT that Linkvana has been highly effective in the past.

It's hard to judge it's recent performance though, especially since I use other methods, but I'm starting to get the feeling that it's no longer pulling its weight. Not sure though. Any more input from long time linkvana users?

    Screw it.

    I bought it yesterday.

Sometimes you just have to try it yourself to get the answer instead of asking "Others" that "don't really know" either.

Ask me in three months how it's going.

To me it's a touch and go service really. For some reason my rankings are not going up for certain sites while others have increased marginally. I'm thinking of giving myarticlenetwork a try as well and see what happens.

I canceled LinkVana in favor of Matt Callen's MyArticleNetwork. Blogs are better quality in that network and you don't lose your links if you decide to cancel your membership.

Back when I posted in this thread, I believe it was on the 5th of May, too lazy to scroll back up =p... I had already stopped using Linkvana for about two weeks, maybe slightly longer to try and get an idea of how effective it was in my campaigns.

I ended up canceling my subscription recently because I just didn't feel the return on investment was worth it. I don't mind paying $147 a month for a service as long as I see results, because basically that money is simply being invested back into my business.

Now, as already stated above, there are a lot of factors to consider when it comes to ranking factors and the effectiveness of a particular service like this. So instead of trying to sort through each and every factor as well as spending more time on more precise testing methods, I'll share my most recent results sinsce I dropped linkvana from my linking campaigns.

Just to start off, the sites I had been specifically focusing on with linkvana were not moving. In fact they had dropped from page one to page two and three. Along with linkvana I was using other linking methods as well, so I'm not saying that linkvana does not work or anything, just questioning the effectiveness relative to the price.

Anyway, here's what I've done recently.

    - Dropped linkvana and picked up MyArticleNetwork
    - Started using UAW - only a handful of articles submitted so far
    - Submitted a couple articles to Free Traffic System
    - Started using Steve Aylor and Angela Edwards linking sites more regularly. 5-10 links every couple days.

Currently, all of my sites that dropped have now come back to page one in a niche with over a million searches. In fact they have risen above their previous positions which is great.

My personal thought simply based on my recent results is that the use of these blog and article networks, combined with the powerful PR websites is more than enough to replace linkvana and at less of a cost.

I honestly feel that the article networks are equal if not better than linkvana these days. You could use them all or simply use the free sources or any combination of them, and use it along with the PR linking sites.

I have no doubt that linkvana was king back in the day, because there wasn't anything like it back then. And I still believe that linkvana works, especially for low competition niches. I also have no doubt that people are seeing positive results using linkvana. I saw positive results at one time.

However, my point is that now, there are much cheaper alternatives to linkvana which are just as effective if not more powerful. To me that makes a big difference, why would I pay $147 a month, even when I can afford it, when I can get the same results much cheaper? The answer is I wouldn't and I'm not any longer =p

And for beginners who are not making much profit if any at this stage, but want and need real linking power, linkvana no longer needs to be a "dream" so to speak for them to lose sleep over.

So, thats my own personal experience and opinion on linkvana. Honestly, if linkvana lowered their price significantly, I'd probably pick it back up again and throw it into my linking campaigns because I like having a lot of link resources. But at $147 it just isn't needed or worth it to me with the alternatives currently available these days.
