Bring The Fresh Forum Log In Issues

I've been a member of BTF for around 2 years enjoying various degrees of success using the methods outlined within but one of the biggest and most helpful aspects of BTF has been the member's forum.
However, just recently it was announced that the 2 main partners, (Kelly Felix and Mike Long) have parted company with Kelly now being the sole owner.

Shortly after this was announced, (a couple of weeks or so) I tried unsuccessfully to log in to the member's forum which in the past has only been a matter of a couple of mouse clicks.

I submitted a ticket to support about the issue and received an unsatisfactory reply which didn't help at all.
I replied to that effect but after waiting for several days with no further reply, added to to my previous ticket but after a few more days of waiting in frustration, submitted a new ticket.

This rewarded me with yet another flimsy and unhelpful reply to which I once again responded advising of negative results and yet again received no further response with both tickets still open at the help desk.

Last night I spoke to a friend on Skype who's also a BTF member. He tried to log in to the forum as we chatted but had the same result. Unable to log in!

Are any other BTF member's reading this experiencing the same problems??

    You should encounter 2 different login forms when trying to login to the forum. The first form you should use your BTF membership username and in the second form you should use your forum username. That's what worked for me.

      Thanks for the suggestion but I'm aware of that already and I'm using exactly the same log in details and page I've always used to enter the forum.

    If you have full disclosure, you might have to use your basic membership password on the second login screen.

        I've had this problem in the past.
        Not being able to log in and getting error, "you are not authorized to reset password," no help from support.
        Last time, I was able to find some direct URL where I was able to reset my password. Kind of bypass the system. I just don't remember where I found it. Someone's blog I think

            On 5/1, the forum support girl was fired. All open tickets about this issue have been resolved up until a few days ago. But we are only seeing about 1 a day at this point, which is normal.

            Typically (in 9 out of 10 cases), we see the problem as people using their forum username where it asks for "email address", and their email address where it asks for "username".

            We have also updated the login page with troubleshooting instructions.

            Here are the recommendations that work for most people:

            **Forum Login Troubleshooting**:

            Keep in mind that when you go to Bring The Fresh • Index page you are typically prompted to enter your email and password, and then taken to a page where you need to enter your username and password. Your username is NOT your email, so make sure you enter your email when it asks for email, and your username when it asks for username. Do not rely on your browser's saved login details - manually enter them.

            Here are different url's you can try as well for logging in:

            You can use any of these browsers:

            Chrome 26
            IE 9
            Firefox 20
            Safari 6

            And finally, if you are having trouble, make sure you have cleared cookies and restarted your browser. You may also want to restart your computer if necessary.

            Every single time I have personally reviewed one of these tickets, I am able to open a new window in one of the browsers above, and login as the person with the issue, using their same username/email/password.

    login not working. tried several browsers.
    btw : has the main product "guide to everything" recently been updated ? few months ago they where still offering their guide which was puplished in 2014 ....
