I had pretty much the same experience with the Bring The Fresh DFY site. I paid for one in June 2012 and still have nothing to show for it but a very basic site.

I got the same email yesterday and I'm waiting to see how this all pans out. No mention of it yet in the BTF forums and no follow up email from Kelly.

I see no point in contacting the FTC. I'm pretty sure they never "promised" page one rankings, but like you I don't have access to the original sales page.

I do think Kelly is a stand-up guy and I hope he is able to come up with something to make this right for everyone involved. But he needs to act quickly to avoid losing all the goodwill that BTF now has.

After going through their website and DFY sale page, it reminds me of the back button.

Sorry to say, but with the cost of DFY site, you could outsource nearly everything for niche site creation with more than that.

Another doubt I have is they force you to buy hosting with their affiliate link with cold words that they would easier to fix any problem with the hosting site issue.

Not just say the suspected hype about the million dollars villa, luxurious cars, and girls in the front page.

    That's my opinion about that.

I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!

        Hey Janice,

Sorry to hear about your experience with BTF. I had a similar experience with Michael Ullman and his $100K Adsense Authority Hub offer. It's described in detail in this Warrior thread.

At least you received a working website, many people received nothing but promises, more promises and a swift kick up the rear for their $500.

I did report him and his company to the FTC, the FBI's IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center), the Utah State Attorney General's office (he is based in Utah) and the BBB.

As I stated in one of my other post's, if anything, Ullman's name and business name (Analogy Marketing) will be in their database for future reference or fraudulent activity committed by him.

Good luck in dealing with Kelly Felix.

Hi Janice, feel free to use my personal email anytime you'd like to talk about your DFY site(s). Its the same one given to all BTF members, so I'm sure you already have it - kellysfelix@gmail.com

In December of 2012, we offered to do "do-overs" for any person who didn't get a highly ranked site or had one hit by Penguin (even though we were not required to). After doing so, many of those people hit page 1. We typically rank 80-85% of our DFY sites. Probably closer to 90% in 2013.

In early April, I again sent 2 emails to any remaining DFY customers who did not reach a page 1 ranking over the entire past year… even though we do not guarantee a page 1 ranking (and do not give a specific time frame due to Google's algorithm changes). Everyone who replied that time was given one of my own personal sites.

38 of my own sites were given out. And I'm continuing to work with those folks to provide them additional backlinks, ideas, content, etc. They are all really good EMD's that I hated to let go. Many were already ranked. I've also upgraded everyone to grant access to all of my products & membership areas.

We've recently undergone many changes, as you are likely aware. Mario De Almeida, David Mills, Mike Long, and Sarah Osborne all no longer work at BTF.

So there have been some minor difficulties associated with that. Its been a 4 month process of trying to part ways with everyone amicably, in a way that they feel valued and taken care of financially.

Sarah sent the email you mentioned about the FTC. Her last day was April 30th, and she was given a month's notice, found a new job, etc. So I was just as surprised as you were, when she decided to send out an email encouraging FTC calls on 5/2... Especially since she was one of the project managers on the DFY sites, and was paid for her work on every one of them. She seemed very happy prior to that, and was paid extremely well.

She may be upset that I have moved on in both my professional and personal life. I'm not really sure.

Regardless, I'm happy to speak to you or anyone else about their sites.

As shown on the DFY page, we do not guarantee a page 1 ranking, nor any kind of return on investment (it would be against FTC rules to guarantee that), and we do not offer refunds for websites we have built out. They are built exactly how I build my own, and they take up quite a bit of my time with keyword research and backlinking, as well as personal expense.

In the past, when we were priced lower, I made very little on each one, after paying out money to my former partners, project managers, etc. That is why the prices are even higher now. Probably 2x what you may have paid.

Anyway, I'll look for your email and am happy to discuss your sites. I care about every single person I work with. I realize you are a real person, with hopes and dreams, and not just a number. I'm always happy to work out an amicable solution, and am respectful to anyone who is reasonable and respectful with me.

Also, after this post I cannot comment about the email Sarah sent out, as I am retaining an attorney today.

        Kelly

Interesting reading as a BTF member as well as a person who purchased a DFY site in July of 2012 (which also has not ranked). I was interested in seeing what a pro would do that I'm not doing. There are definitely some facts that Kelly chooses not to discuss in this thread. I will address some of my gripes for the overall facts of this thread. I will also be contacting Kelly as he has stated to do and see if we can come to a solution outside of this thread.

I never received any of these three e-mails. I would suggest you check your database of e-mail addresses. Although, you should have valid ones from the purchases.

This is true NOW. However, it is not true of what the site originally was (see two separate attached screenshots). Customers that bought under this premise should get what they paid for. That is why so many people are upset.

Do you deny that these are screenshots taken from the DFY site as it was then when I and many others purchased? If you do not deny this then that is an issue that needs to be resolved with customers (such as myself).

Well, sometimes it's easier to fix something by actually talking to the person. There's a LOT that cannot be conveyed through email or IM.

Good grief - just buy some link building packages (quality press releases, web 2.0 etc.) and high PR contextual links. You still would have spent less and you absolutely would have ranked.

Janice wouldn't even need to buy any link building packages. I'm happy to do a link package for her.

But when a customer says "I am not interested in any site you could offer me", that lets me know this person isn't serious about a resolution. She is refusing to email me to discuss, prefers a forum, and will not take possession of one of my own sites that I've done keyword research on and built a site around. Maybe she has given up on IM.

Anyway, Sarah & Mario have both been fired, and my offer still stands.

          Hello,

I would like to share my experience with BTF as well. I've ordered 2 DFY packages about 1 year ago, and it cost me $1.197,00. Initially, Mario from BTF emailed me and started working on my websites.

The problem happened a few weeks later, when my blogs were ready but they were not ranking. Since I have some previous experience with keyword research, I told him that one of the keywords he picked to build one of my websites was too competitive. He told me that he knew what he was doing and I should not worry about it.

Months later, both my websites were not ranked at all. I tried to contact Mario a lot of times and he didn't replied my emails. One day he told me that he was not working with BTF anymore and I should contact Sarah.

Sarah offered some products for free and told me that she was going to contact Kelly to work on a solution for my websites. After many days waiting for their contact, I complained about all this situation, and guess what happened? They just ignored me and Kelly Felix banned me from BTF. Yes, he closed my account with BTF so I can't access my membership area nor the forum, and I PAID for that! He banned me because I complained about what he was doing... pathetic.

I see many other people from different countries sharing the same bad experience that I had with BTF. I'm telling my experience here to encourage other people to do the same and show what happened. I hope this helps other people to know what they are doing with their customers.

Instead of trying to work on a solution with their customers - and I was willing to wait for them to fix this - they prefer to ignore everything as nothing happened. I feel that I was ripped off..

Ps: Sorry for my english, I'm from Brazil.

Again, Sarah has been let go and I'm happy to build links to your site. The majority of my sites given out were already ranked.

A few others were not on the top 5 pages yet b/c I hadn't done backlinks yet, but the sites have about 8-10 pages of content, premium theme, plugins, etc and an exact match domain for a very highly searched, lucrative keyword.

Yes we do not continue to work with anyone like yourself who attempted to file a chargeback. You left that part out

Again, I'm happy to work with anyone who contacts me personally. You all have my personal email, my facebook, my skype, my cell phone number, etc. I recommend you contact me instead of continuing to reply to someone who does not work for me.

Most BTFers know I take care of folks. But there are always gonna be a few people who would rather claim sour grapes, instead of actually working towards an amicable resolution. I'm not overly concerned with a few people making a big stink, because the rest of the people are contacting me and being very nice and respectful, and they get the same in return

It comes with the territory, and over 90% of our members are happy campers. I'll take that any day in this niche. I have no doubt in my mind that this speed bump will pass, and those who want to work with me will, while those who want to complain, will. No matter which path you choose, I wish you the best.

Oh, and just to even things up a bit, here is a recent DFY comment from the BTF forum:

            ---------------------

            "by Orlando » Tue Apr 16, 2013 10:58 am
I ordered my last DFY site on January 3rd and it has just been handed back to me. It is in the Precious Metals Niche (Gold Site). It's not an easy site to rank but it has been ranking for the domain name between #17 - #26 on Google for about a month now. It hit #13 today when I last checked.

I just wanted to give some feedback on the DFY process...The website was definitely set in a manner in which I know they took great care in building the site. It is a professional looking site and the articles are professionally written and on point with the subject matter within the niche. I could not have done it better. I've been a BTFer for some time now and I have built many web sites on my own before using all the methods you learn in this forum, but I really haven't built a website on my own in the past year and a half. I guess I got side-tracked.

Anyway, instead of starting from scratch all over again, I decided to use the DFY site service, and, I have had 2 sites built already. It was nice to sit back and watch as the sites developed and I am 100% satisfied with them and with the service and support aspects too. The cool thing about these DFY sites is that you can use these sites as building blocks to build sites on your own in the same niche if you want. That's what I have done with the precious metals niche and the stock market niche. It's worth the investment and I have to thank Kelly and staff for a really great service.

Oh, and I already ordered a BTF links packages that I know will boost my ranking to page 1, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the DFY training videos too!

            Peace out,
            Orlando"

Kelly, what are you doing? You are telling a big lie! I NEVER TRIED TO CHARGEBACK. NEVER!

Prove what you are saying. I have at least 10 emails saved here that I've sent to YOU DIRECTLY and to Sarah. Here is what happened:

              - Sarah offered me BTF products for free and told me that she was going to talk to you about my websites;
              - You contacted me a few days later telling that you were going to build links to ONE of my websites (i have 2 websites that have the same problem). I asked for a few details and you didn't replied anymore since then;
              - Sarah sent me an email with "a little secret backlinking service" that would help me. The service is nothing more than a very well known backlinking service and you sent me an affiliate link. I think that is offensive, because I already paid a lot of $$$ for the DFY package and for your products, and the only help provided comes in affiliate links.
              - I complained about all this situation (the fact that you sent me an affiliate link and didn't replied my emails anymore). Sarah ignored me.
              - Sarah quit and told me that you banned me from BTF because I complained about the affiliate link and because you were ignoring me. Do you really think you are right about closing my access to the website just because I complained about what happened? Kelly, I'm waiting for 1 year and always sent emails to Mario asking for updates, but I never complained to him. I always accepted what he said. You fired Mario and didn't tell us anything about, I had to do some research to find this information and contact you.

Again, I'm here seeking for a solution. I don't know if you are overwhelmed with many people complaining about the same stuff, but please, try to investigate better what you are saying. I never requested a charge back, and even if i wanted to do so, my payment was made 1 year ago, that is impossible to do! Please, investigate better and you will see that I'm trying to obtain a solution.

                  Sergio,

In researching further, I see that you are correct - you did not do a chargeback, you told me you were contacting your lawyer. I apologize for my mix up, but I address people who do chargebacks and threaten legal action very similarly.

                  Here is the timeline:

March 13th: You emailed me, saying you were unhappy, contacting your lawyer, and going to spread negative information about me in public forums.

March 31st: I let Sarah know you were going to be given a brand new site (do-over), or I would give you one of my own, and to let you know.

April 10th: I emailed you the following:

"Hey, Sarah let me know you replied to her about my DFY email.

As I said, I'm happy to upgrade your account to full disclosure and project profits. I'm cc'ing Sarah so she can take care of that.

I'm also going to go one step further, and just go ahead and give you one of my own sites. This will be a site I've already researched myself, done work on, and planned to take to the next level.

It will already have a lot of quality content, be google friendly (as far as the structure of the site), and will include the premium plugins & theme I mentioned in the previous email. I will try to pick one in a similar niche as you had before, but I cannot guarantee it. But it will be in a niche I was already targeting myself. (so you know its a good place to be)

I will also create your “money post” if the site isn’t already being monetized.

Or, if it’s a more local related site, it will just have general information as a placeholder, and you can contact vendors in the area to see if they want to pay you to rent the site, or to be featured on it, or to have their phone number on it.

The site may or may not be ranking yet - but it will likely be somewhere in the top 100 already for its main keyword.

We will be re-opening our backlink service in the next few weeks and we will create some new links for the site (if its not ranking high yet) to see if we can get it ranked higher.

The departure of Mike and Mario gave us a bit of a setback timing-wise, but we will be back at full strength, under my watchful eye shortly.

But I encourage you to review my latest videos inside full disclosure, to learn how to help your site rank higher yourself as well, by getting high quality links. (in addition to those we will do for you)

Remember, the DFY program is not about getting an awesome site and then just sitting around and collecting paychecks. If it were that easy, I would just create 1,000 of them for myself and retire. Some will be more successful than others, but it mostly depends on YOU.

Your site is intended to be a perfect template of how all of your sites should be created, and to give you the absolute best shot at ranking high and making money. But the site needs TLC over time - so do not stop adding additional links over time, or experimenting with new products to sell, or adding additional high quality content. In other words, your site stands the best chance of long-term success if you actually care about it, and you don't get lazy!

Having access to both Full Disclosure and Project Profits will give you the edge you need to continue improving the site, ranking it higher, and monetizing it more efficiently.

So, in short we will upgrade your account, we will do a blast of links, and we will transfer the site to you along with the files, so you can have your host upload it for you. Then it will be up to you to step on the gas and take it to the next level.

This will fulfill our obligation to you as a valuable DFY member. I really appreciate your patience and your continued positive attitude!

                  Best,
                  Kelly"

                  April 16th:

Sarah emails you to let you know we are giving you our sites EbenPagan.org which was ranked #12.

She then emails me to let me know you refused the site and says: "This guy (Sergio/Starbolt) is being a jackass, so he's out. Just wanted to let you know you can assign his site (ebenpagan.org) to someone else.

I think you and Sarah understood that I was not taking any legal actions because after that we start working on a solution together. So, why you are addressing me differently now? Since then I never said anything about legal actions. You're mixing things up.

I did not accept this website when she offered me this domain. Reason: At that time the website was incomplete and very different from what Mario already did to me. DFY package consists of many features and the website ebenpagan.org didn't had this feature. I replied the email clearly stating that I didn't like the website, but I NEVER said that I don't want anything from you. In this same email I complained about receiving more affiliate links from you and Sarah considered me a "JACKASS". Cool.

                    Hello Kelly
My name is Sergio, I recently contacted Sarah about 2 DFY packages that were not delivered by Mario.
She told me that you banned me from BTF and I should fill a complaint with FTC. Now, I don't know if all this is true, but I prefer instead to work around a "fix" for this situation.
I'm a big fan of your work and I hope we can discuss about this and find a solution. I was banned from BTF even though I paid for the basic membership option.
My 2 DFY websites that were not delivered completely are:

                    xxxxxxx
                    xxxxxxx

Let's discuss a better way. You have to understand that I complained at first because I was waiting for about 1 year and Mario was not replying me. Wouldn't you be angry about that too?
Thank you and I hope to hear from you!

Do you really think I'm demanding something? I'm being friendly and trying to work with you to find a solution. This was my only email sent personally to you. And I've also sent a ticket to you with the exact same content pasted above.

                    Considering:

                    - I didn't took any legal actions and didn't made any threats since my first email, and I apologized for that at that time.
                    - I'm sending you emails trying to find a solution. I'm asking the same here.
                    - I'm not demanding anything, I'm not pushing you for an instant solution. Just reply my email and we can discuss this friendly.

                    Now it's your turn Kelly.

      Ouch thats harsh.

Through reading this thread I saw Kelly was saying these are his own sites so the niches and keywords targeted should be dope right? I mean I pay some of my contractors as much as $200 a day and they'll take a day to do the domain and keyword searches, a day to create the site, another day to write articles, the next day start SEO and bam $800 gone. But they aren't Kelly, they are positioned and in my opinion, take forever and a pain in my ass. lol They make fun of me behind my back. Im the evil boss. And in return I'm giving them a hard time the same way You are. Well, not that bad haha. But in the end it gets done, that's the important thing.

And I would assume we are talking about far more SEO work than I described my guys doing. Heck, I didn't even include the time it would take for myself to look up the niche and decide what is best prior to paying people to create the site.

The thing is, I never got a BTF site but I'm actually wanting to after reading this thread. lolol Serious! That's an affordable price to have someone do the entire site and then SEO work on it. Im not fixated on if I get to #1 either, even at #12 on the second page or whatever Id take a screenshot of that, post on Flippa! Perhaps someone who has the time to do more stuff than I do might really dig it! Sell the site for more than you bought it for since it is a site that gets traffic no?

But that would be a last resort. If good niche, and keyword optimization, good content and concept, I might roll with it! YEEAH!

Anyhow, I was impressed that Kelly, currently handling such a unique challenge (an employee doing something like that!) took the time to stop in.

I would at least ask him his advice regarding selling the site or what is the point of this thread right?

Janice is correct. We were led to believe that they would not turn the site over UNTIL they achieved page 1 rankings. I have a copy of the same email from Mario promising page 1 rankings, and the fact of the matter is this, I wouldn't have parted with $1,000 unless I read and understood HIS promise. Plain and simple, we were all led to believe we would be receiving a site with page 1 rankings.

It's not difficult to comprehend, and those who think Kelly is doing such a noble and honorable thing by giving us one of his own sites, those sites aren't ranking either and he has no intention of building backlinks to the site as promised. At least that's what I was told by his representative at the time, Sarah.

Mario's email, his representative at the time, states it clearly, "We guarantee you a first page ranking, build and optimize the site first, and then do the back-linking legwork to get your site ranked on the first page." How can you argue that no promise was ever made?

Also, according to Kelly, he contacted everyone in December 2012. NO, he did NOT. I didn't find out about Mario being fired until late March, early April when I kept sending emails inquiring about the status of my site, which was purchased in late November, early December 2012. In fact, Kelly didn't bother to get involved until I finally asked for Sarah's supervisor because I felt like I was getting nowhere. That is when I received the email about Mario being fired.

I have copies of all the email communications, too.

I suppose this is why Internet marketers as a whole get a bad rep, huh?

Here's a copy of my email from Mario. No promises were made, Kelly? And, I was wrong, I purchased this in September - WOW!

      Mario Deal <mario.bringthefresh@gmail.com>
      9/14/12

      to me
      Hi there!

My name is Mario. I am the Bring The Fresh project manager and we have received your information about the deluxe done for you blog you've purchased.

On behalf of Kelly and Mike, I'd like to welcome you to the DFY program!

Do you have an idea of what kind of niche site you would like built?

If you're confused, it's best not to jump ahead so we can walk through each step side-by-side.

I'll walk you through each part of the process.

In the deluxe package, we do the keyword research where the search term has commercial value and 1000 or more searches a month.

It can be in any niche you would like, but keep in mind some niches will be more competitive than others. Try to think outside the box - there's money to be made everywhere.

We will be finding you an exact match domain for the keyword we come up with to rank your site for.

Also, for this package we guarantee you a first page ranking, build and optimize the site first, and then do the back-linking legwork to get your site ranked on the first page.

One of the most common questions I get is, "How much money will my DFY blog make me?". I'm sure you're thinking the same.

We don't guarantee that your site will make any money due to the FTC laws, but we do treat every site as if it were our own, and BTF is not in the habit of making sites that don't make money.

How much money it makes depends on the niche, competition, how well the product converts, etc. It will also depend on where your site sits on the first page and what you do with the site after it's turned over to you.

You'll want to rank for more keywords and also rank higher for your main term once it's turned over to get the most traffic possible.

With that said, let's get this coordinated and started ASAP - just reply and let me know what niche you'd like to go after, and I'll take it from there!

      Thanks,
      Mario

It seems to me that some here forget that in business there are no guarantees of ranking, or money, or anything really. Since I've been a BTF member, Kelly has always been helpful, courteous and gives a lot of time to members on the forum, something that most courses do not. Two that do are Sean Donahoe's Inner Circle and BTF and its associated courses and members are worth the investment.

Having had the chance to speak with Kelly personally, he's not one of those twits we often see in the WSO section, who show up, hawk their wares and then disappear. Also remember that right now, it's just him and from the sounds of it he's dealing as best he can. Unlike some, he takes the time to address things publicly, something that a lot don't.

And I don't for a minute believe he's being nefarious.

The fact remains that you were given a site ranking #12 and you have admitted that you refused it. So I have nothing further to discuss with you. The other few people who have emailed, and are not refusing my own sites, are getting them.

I do not subscribe to the theory that the customer is always right. As a product owner, I'm happy to stand up for myself, and attempt to make amends if needed, but only to an extent. When you turned down a brand new, ranked website, in my opinion you forfeited your rights. In addition, you have made multiple threats in the past which you have apologized for. But it all adds up to a pattern of negative behavior that I will not be a part of. And I stand by that.

If anyone has any issues with me whatsoever, and approaches me respectfully and positively, I do the same in return.

Here is a letter I wrote to our 12,000 members last month:

"Hey, I thought I'd take a moment and let everyone know a few things.

I really value you being here. It means a lot to know that you've given me the benefit of the doubt, and I want you to know that your BTF membership and success is practically all I think about.

I WANT you to succeed. And I want you to experience some of the things I've been lucky enough to experience. I've been doing this 13 long years. And I had to learn the hard way. My goal is to shorten the learning curve for you, and give you a place you feel welcome and listened to and respected.

I know many of you have been burned by other programs, and it can't help but make you suspicious, apprehensive, or even wondering if ANYTHING works.

That's a totally valid train of thought.

Nearly everything in internet marketing seems to be about over promising and under delivering on various levels. I'm trying to be a driving force to change that. And its working. I'm seeing the shift.

I get private messages from other marketers quite often ,telling me they really respect what I'm doing, and they want to clean up their acts. Most are just scared, because when you tell the truth, its MUCH less profitable. What I'm making is peanuts compared to some of the scammy stuff out there. I know hundreds of high level guys. And they all seem to have that battle with the angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other.

On one hand, you can promise the world and scam the hell out of people, and make a boatload of money. But then you have to constantly worry about karma coming around and biting you, and potentially ruining your life. Hurting people always comes back around to smack you in the face. So while these guys ride around and enjoy their Lamborghini and brag on facebook, and they make you potentially envious... just know that inside they are not happy. They are scared. They are over-compensating for their insecurities. Many of them are not what they seem. They put down a few grand on a car or a house and go into massive debt, all for show. And SO MANY don't even pay their taxes. Seriously. I see it all the time. It will be short lived. So don't ever get caught up in comparing yourself to others.

On the other hand, you can choose to go with the old "treat people as you want to be treated" mentality. The slow and steady race. Where you earn less money, but you earn more goodwill, you help your fellow man, and you feel good about yourself and what you're doing every day. And eventually things just start to go your way over and over and over again. Its just universal law.

      What path will you take?

But to be honest, even BTF isn't going to be right for some of you. Some of you will find your way somewhere else. Others won't ever find their way, as they spin their wheels from product to product. In fact 6% of you won't even be here next month. That's our refund rate, which is pretty darn good for a digital product. In fact, clickbank recently asked me to come up to their office in Idaho to teach their team how we keep our refund rates so low, so that they can train their other vendors on best practices.

I summed it up for them in one sentence. We keep refund rates low because "We simply care about our customers". Thats it. Thats the big secret. But unfortunately you can't teach people to care about their customers. They either do or they don't.

But you know what? We're not perfect here either. Sometimes we screw up. Maybe we didn't do a good enough job with customer service, someone fell through the cracks, or we mis-communicated something, or we recommended a product that ended up being a bad experience. It all happens. We do our best to minimize this stuff.

If you ever feel that you've been misled or mistreated, please contact me personally so we can make it right. I will ALWAYS find an amicable solution. I'm a reasonable person. All I ask is that you don't approach me like a raving, emotionally unstable lunatic. Any civil, respectful request will be met with a positive solution.

With that said, I'm glad you're here.

If you make me a promise and a promise to yourself, I will make you a promise as well.

If you promise to really give this your all... to implement what we teach, to ask questions, to learn from your mistakes and failures, to do something, ANYTHING, every single day, that moves you closer to your goal, and you don't throw in the towel...

Then I promise you I will never give up on you either, and I will support you in any way reasonably possible. And I will continue to learn and grow myself, and to teach you everything I know, whether its things I've done myself, or things I've learned in high level masterminds that you may not yet have access to.

We are over 10,000 strong here. And that's a force to be reckoned with. If we all support each other, we simply cannot lose.

      Best,
      Kelly Felix"

Kelly, please read my emails. If you don't want to help me just tell so. But just tell a plausible reason, because I don't see one.

Now, one more time, you are mixing things up. Sarah offered me this website and I did not say: I DONT WANT IT. Here is what I said:

        Hello Sarah

I've looked at the website and looks like is an incomplete website. And another thing: it is a website that is far different from what DFY service was currently doing at the time I purchased my 2 packages (I've saw many of your customers sites). Now, I'm not saying is not a good site, but looks like a website that needs a lot of things to do. I do not mind getting this website, but first I want to receive what I've paid for, and this means the website needs more articles and better rankings. As far as I know, DFY package is supposed to be a kickstarter and I have to keep doing the work to keep it profitable. Looking at this website I see a lot of things to do in terms of content, website layout and backlinking.

Honestly, the website I saw that time is far different from this one right now. I would accept this website Im seeing now FYI.

        Look what you said previously:

        So far:

        - You told me that I was threatening you now. Not true, all my past emails I never mentioned anything close to this. I just complained about one particular thing (the affiliate link). Only my first email I said that IF YOU DIDN'T REPLY ME, I was going to talk to a lawyer. But, read again, ONLY IF.
        - You said that I've requested chargeback. Not true.
        - You said that I refused the website. Look at the email above.

        You said to Janice:
But when a customer says "I am not interested in any site you could offer me", that lets me know this person isn't serious about a resolution.
Not my case. I'm interested and I'm trying to find a solution!

I was interested in BTF and their DFY sites but it's threads like these that make glad that I spent time researching before purchasing.

All of KellyF's responses that I've read seem to twist the complainers words against them, bringing up false/altered 'facts', etc. Though he tries to defend his position, he does it in a very offensive and attacking manner. KellyF just comes across as shady in general and I don't think I'll ever be dealing with him or BTW ever.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. Thousands of folks will testify otherwise... and have. We're 12,000 paying members strong with an 8% refund rate, which is fantastic on clickbank

I have not had any luck with my DFY sites either.

My first site was penalized off of google last fall, so I never got the site anyway. It's been several months, and it still isn't ranked. It probably won't rank ever.

My other other site did rank, but Mario did such a poor job that it has made zero money in several months. I thought these guys had experience. I even questioned him on the keyword choice, but he assured me that he knew what he was doing. Apparently not.

I thought these sites would give me an example of how to do things right. I guess that's not going to happen either. I can't troubleshoot a site that makes no money. If I could do that, I'd make my own sites that make tons of money.

So, now I'm trying to figure out what to do with my other site. I got an email last fall from Sarah saying I could swap it out, then they changed their tune. Now all I'm getting is excuses like "oh you didn't respond to the email" or "that offer expired." Well, I got zero emails. I went back and looked again to make sure. I was also never told of any deadlines. The only reason I waited this long anyway was because they said they would work on the site for 6 months. I wanted to give them plenty of time, and now it just came back to bite me.

So, that's $1500 wasted. If I can get a decent enough replacement site for my non-ranked site, it won't be as much of a loss, but I'm still unhappy about this whole ordeal.

I'm glad we got 1 of your 2 sites ranked.

I'm not sure what you've done with it since it was ranked though. I wonder if you've made any changes such as adding adsense, trying to promote different products, etc. Or maybe selling it on Flippa.

It sort of sounds like you have just held on to it exactly as you received it, and haven't tried to do anything else with it. Doing nothing typically leads to nothing changing. If you want me to take a look at new ways to monetize it, feel free to message me.

As I'm sure you know, we do not guarantee earnings with your sites. I'm glad we got it ranked though. SEO takes quite a bit of work and expense. And having a ranked site is an asset. When you say you don't have a template that you can use for your future sites, I disagree. Having a ranked site on a highly searched keyword is a fantastic template in my opinion. You are just one step away from making money - by better monetizing a ranked site that already gets traffic. Thats a huge head start that most people do not have.

Tons of people and companies pay for SEO. And they pay thousands monthly. With zero guarantee of earning any money. Why? Because having a ranked site is an asset that they can tweak to get the results they desire.

Well, I mean I guess I could send it to you and we can see what can be done. Still, I feel kinda bad about it. I mean, we keep getting emails saying that other members are making thousands of dollars from their gold/silver sites. I could have really used some of that. I don't know why other people get to make all this money and I don't. If my site doesn't convert at all in Regal Assets affiliate program, then I don't know how to fix it.

After looking at the CPCs for this keyword, it didn't seem like Adsense would be worthwhile. I also have no experience selling on Flippa. Besides, I wanted a site that makes passive income, not a one-time thing.

What altered facts are you referring to? because some one posts something, it doesn't make it factual, it is just one side of a story.

I have seen some people complain and I also know of many who are very successful with "Bring The Fresh".

There are always two sides to every story, just as starbolt failed to mention in his first post that he had threatened to hire an attorney and that is a reason for a bad taste in anyone's mouth.

Joseph, you have to analyze the context. I paid for this service 1 year ago, and for about 9 months I was sending emails asking for updates and not getting feedback. Without knowing their employee was fired (because they didn't sent any email to me about that), I tried contacting them using other contact email address. Basically I said that I was going to talk to a laywer IF they didn't get back to me. I really didn't know what was happening with BTF at that moment. I think you are not checking both sides.

But I am open to both sides, I was merely pointing out to him that just because you read something in a post does not make it a fact, he said that Kelly was ignoring the facts.I wasn't there so I have to keep an open mind to both parties involved.

You can still do that, whether through keyword research to find solid CPC, or through CPA. Remember, just because a site might fail at one thing, doesn't mean it won't succeed at another. And, if you stick with Kelly and work with him, as you seem you want to, you'll find your own "groove" so to speak. And finally, there are other solid options besides Adsense, though that is the biggest.

Point is, don't give up. You deserve your dreams. And it's been my experience that things DO work out, just that sometimes you wind up taking a different path than you thought to get there. Just remember there are no guarantees in business. EVER.

    Gee.....pretty heavy for a Sunday!

Oh and by the way, just to prove what I'm saying, the website Sarah offered me was pretty much like this one in the WEB Archive snapshot below:

    Eben Pagan

As you can see, it only has 2 articles. The only difference is that the one she offered me had a ugly theme. Now, compare this website she offered me and what you gave to your customer:

    Eben Pagan

Much better! Lots of articles, premium theme, good ranking, etc...That is a DFY website... So, basically what I told her was:

ow, I'm not saying is not a good site, but looks like a website that needs a lot of things to do. I do not mind getting this website, but first I want to receive what I've paid for, and this means the website needs more articles and better rankings.
If you offered me the website like it is now, I would gadly accept it. We can come to a solution very quickly, you just need to ready my emails again and join the pieces.

    Kelly,

I also have sent you an email asking about an update. I know few months ago I was offered do overs but haven't heard anything since.

I purchased the two dfy sites for $1497 I think and then for each domain I paid for 3 years in advance as recommended by Mario.

I'm not looking to start trouble and would just like to get what I paid for. I think in Aug it will be a full year and I have nothing but 2 blogs with few content packages that I could have done myself in a few hours.

Please reply back to my email when you have time to update me.

    Thanks

  • Hey guys, this is my first post here and unfortunately it is on something negative, I am a bring the fresh member and I too got burnt by the dfy programme. Firstly I would like to start off by saying I like bring the fresh, bring the fresh full disclosure and havnt had the chance to have a good look at project profits. I have learnt a lot from them and I am now making money online.

I am posting here today to backing up all the dfy victims. I originally thought Mike Long and Kelly Felix were good honest guys but it seems as though Mike has run off and left Kelly to handle this mess on his own and he is not doing a good job with it.

I like everyone else bought three deluxe DFY packages which clearly stated they will get your site to the first page of google for 1 keyword (usually the EMD keyword) To say he did not make this promise is very unproffesional since I and many others still have the email from Mario and some of us even have a screenshot of the order page.

Two out of three of my sites were ranked so there is only one that is yet to be ranked in fact it is not even in the top 100 after 9 months! For the other two, once they were on the first page I received a screenshot form Mario and I was given the log in details for the wordpress installed on the site.

    A couple of months ago I got an email from Kelly stating that he fired Mario and that my site was not going to get ranked and he made this offer;

So, like I said we are happy to give you a do-over, which we call a “90 day DFY”,*
where we hand a new site over to you within 90 days, with the best ranking possible.*

We're also including the following add-ons and upgrades for you. We have already*
given your site a premium $77 theme (AllInOneTheme.com or Socrates theme), and*
Pretty Link Pro ($97), as well as Trust Jacker ($147). All of these will be instrumental*
    in your future success.

To be quite honest I wasnt 100 percent happy with this deal but he wasnt prepared to give me a refund so I grudgingly accepted. It was not what I was promised but I didnt really feel like having an argument and causing a scene and the plugins sounded kinda cool...

But here is the f#&*ed up part I accepting his so called multi part solution but I never received my 90 day site or the plugins. And the last thing I heard from bring the fresh was an email from Sarah advising me to lodge a complaint with the FTC!

It would be fair to give everyone a refund and keep their sites for your self. They did not get what they were promised and if you believed the sites had any value you would get them ranked and make money of them or sell them on flippa.

To make things worse there is a video in the BTF members area tilted; Kelly's Precious Metals Website (made $424,000 in 5 days)

With the proceeds of that site alone you could have given everyone a refund and still have money left over...

You really need to come to some sort of solution, Bring the fresh is a good product but it is going to get a bad name due to all the unhappy people giving you a bad reputation online

If I remember right (as I'm a BTF Full Disclosure member as well) that site created $424,000 in sales for the company which it's promoting. The commission off that is much much lower. Like 1% low. $4k in 5 days is nothing to laugh at but as is the case with most outrageous claims for shock value the work put in to generate those 5 days is probably much more than usual and that income is not typical at all for the site in question. ie. put $5k worth of marketing behind the site for a week, generate huge numbers, make a video about it for credibility and to generate more sales of your own 100% profit products.

All my earlier comments were out of frustration and impatience. After further communication with Kelly I decided to remain a customer. I know for a fact he is working behind the scenes to personally resolve any remaining issues with everyone.

As Ntech said, good to hear. I hope he gets to my email soon as well. I'm still interested to see what his reply will be to my first input on this thread which included screenshots of the original DFY site sales page.
