Is the Google sniper method still profitable. I have the course but have not implemented it yet.

If you get your website ranked on the right keyword, I think so.

I assume you have version 2?

Yes it works but like any method it takes allot of work and allow for 8 out of 10 to do nothing, 1 to do ok and 1 to do well.

You will get better (I think George recons he succeeds with 7 out of 10) and you can sometimes sell the duds

    Hi...

The Google Sniper course can still work, but with the recent updates in Google's algorithm, you may have to slightly modify the plan in order to get better results.

But there is still plenty of valuable info in the guide.

    Much Success,

Google Sniper is a vehicle to post poor content on the internet and basically exaggerate who you are and how you have successfully used a product.

Isn't it about time we started creating something useful that will actually benefit the online world, rather than one page spammy sites that compromise your morals?

Yes. The techniques can be used for good rather than evil

Google Sniper teaches the foundations of affiliate marketing online, or the core pillars of IM as I like to say.

The method still works, 100% - Don't let anyone tell you any different.

The only thing that separates successful sites from the failures is simple and it comes down to one thing. Keyword research.

As long as you do your keyword research CORRECTLY - the method will work (always will) and you WILL get ranked and see results, but this ALL is reliant on your keyword choice.

There are some more up-t0-date methods and ranking strategies in the up-sell, "Sniper X" I believe it's called, which I highly recommend you get (if you haven't already).

There are also some case studies which you can use to leverage success and to make sure your doing everything correctly.

Now it's up to you to go out there and take action.

Yes, there are a lot of things in the course that work but the main strategy was to rank sites with direct match domains. Google put a damper on that one.

That means the core strategy does no longer work.

Yes, there are keywords that have so little competition and are so worthless that you can rank any web site with any method for it.

You can learn what really works by reading this forum.

Sure, you can always learn something even if you buy outdated materials but for a newbie this can be rather confusing.

No, but it DOES work. Google only "put a damper" on low quality spammy EMD sites.

Since the "core strategy doesn't work anymore" go do a google search for "product name review" or "product name scam" etc. Then tell me what you see?

Exact match domains ranked on the front page of Google (which is the core strategy working right before your eyes)

Like I said the method STILL works and people are still making killing with it today.

If my memory serves correctly its keywords with 6,500 or less results per month. These are not worthless keywords IF you do proper research in the first place.

These are small-to-medium or un-tapped niches for easy pickings.

You can say that about ANY course. Sure, most information can be found for free online but you've got to look for it. For $47 your getting everything you need in front of you without needing to look elsewhere. This is great for beginners that want everything in one place, or for people that simply dont want/haven't got time to go out and spend countless hours researching online.

I've gotten the Google sniper 2 course when it came out along with the coffee shop millionaire and the Bring the Fresh course which are all basically almost the same concept.

The Bring the Fresh course wasn't anything overally fantastic. They had a couple video tutorials but overall it was really over hyped and too high priced with their monthly billing. (took the full disclosure option)
It now took a drastic turn once Google changed their EMD value with their update and I think they are focusing more on offline clients; correct me if I'm wrong...cancelled subscription a while ago. The best thing about this was the tutorial on writing a presell article.

The Google Sniper 2 course was informative; a lot of the concept still works however it's quite a different game today. There are some updates to the course as I've noticed in the emails however nothing you can't find on WF (as john noted). The only benefit is not having to sift through it all; although there's a search function for a reason. The real benefit of this course was the detailed approach to quite a few topics including content and SEO.

Before you jump at the courses I'd suggest you take a browse at the Warrior Forum threads. Search up three main topics:
          1) Adsense and Affiliate: Key idea you want to learn how to maximize your conversions, writing a proper presell article, and proper ad placement. There's a lot of discussion about this here!

Regarding themes I'd suggest just customizing the current 2013 theme

          2) Wordpress & Content:
          - Try to approach a more complete site instead.
Having those slim affiliate sites don't work that well anymore especially if you're looking for something sustainable.

Might still be useful to develop it around an exact match domain but make sure to add more content and grow the site. The benefit of an exact match domain is probably a higher click through rate and allows you to zoom in on the user's interest.

Make sure you have a presell article at the top (in case you weren't aware you can do this by the article published date on blog style)

          3) SEO:
          - Keep an emphasis on building Authority developing your page rank. (keeps your site more resistant and allows you to get away with more things)
+ on site is the most important factor more so today
Onsite is like the foundation and offsite is the building...the extra edge against competitors. Offsite link building can still be relatively similar but onsite has changed quite significantly.

The only way to find out is to try it. After all, the majority of people who throw opinions into the pot are only speculating anyway. If you've already paid for the course, all you have to lose is a few hours of your time.

What I will say, and this is purely opinion, is that this model was never attractive to me because I don't think these sites provide any value to the customer. Now Google has reduced the value of EMD, it's much harder to rank sites that don't provide value.

Plus it's debatable if this type of site was ever as profitable as claimed.

Personally I'd rather create an authority site in a niche that i'm interested in, that way you can update the site on an ongoing basis and sell to a loyal fan base naturally. It's also far easier to sell the site when you're bored of if you have lots of indexed pages, views, etc.

Thank you so much! I am a brand newbie, about to create my first ever affiliate marketing site, a Google Sniper style site.
I am feeling very much out of my depth and am struggling with even the most basic of tasks (I got stuck on webhosting for an embarrassing period of time). Your advice above is the most concise and useful I have come across, as I was reading something just clicked. Thank you, this was the helping hand I needed!
Oh, & BTW, your tip on how to keep the presell article at the top of Wordpress is solid, shiny gold. I knew that there was a simple way to do it, but for the life of me I could not figure it out!

    Yes of course it works.

But you must take action. You will not succeed on your first try.. Just learn from your errors and make another campaign until you succeed.

Also follow the course to the letter. Once you are getting some success you can implement tweek it.

    Cheers,

    Gary

Just wondering, Google Sniper 2 been out for over 2 years now... Has it been updated since then or is the same since it launched?

I got review access to it when it did launched so I know what it was like back then.

I believe there has been some updates and webinars to discuss certain changes but I'm not exactly sure; this is just from the emails I've received several months back but cancelled the subscription a while ago.

Google have already clamped down on these sorts of sites, and will continue to do so. It was a good idea, but not as a mini site any more.

Having an authority site that is constructed in a similar sort of way would be much better a way to go.

It can work, but it's also very outdated.

Google Sniper basically teaches you how to make tiny niche sites that are focused on one or a few keywords. The problem is, Google is not as friendly to these types of sites as they used to be.

being flat out new to IM, I picked-up a copy of GS and it really helped me learn basics and was a decent guide for $47 - meaning it was a great place to start. But even being the new guy around here, it became clear after a couple of videos that the content was a bit dated and updates weren't at hand.

That said, I was able to rank my first site as #1 within a couple of weeks. However, even doing so, building rich and useful content must be done. Otherwise visitors take it for what it is: "basically a regurgitated summary of what you could find on the product landing page".

Maybe it's just me, but the methods used seem to scream "hey - click my link and buy from me, even though it's clear that I haven't tried this product, let alone really review it".

Like some of the others here, you will have to do some work to account for recent changes. I know I have and my first product is a pretty slow seller - I blame this mostly on my newbie review style.

I still think its worth the $47 though for anyone starting out.
