Jack Mize Easy Lead Method Review

Ok

I wanted to leave a review on Jack mizes new product. Easy Lead Method.

the initial cost is $97 before they went up to whatever the price is currently

I can sum this up pretty much in 1 sentence.

Don't waste your money.

this is another example of someone that may have had some successes in the offline world and decided to just start hawking his info products because the reality is there is more money selling the info than actually doing the work

its very topical and although the presentation was professional it there was absolutely no meat from this at all.

not for $100 bucks

he suggest going the paid route, meaning he suggest you send leads to clients for free and get paid when they close.

it is obvious that he is not involved in this business on a day to day basis

don't waste your money

    EDIT:
To be fair, I've got to admit I got a few aha moments re: Merchant Circle and OLX, but more in the range of $7 - $17 "special report" aha than a $97 mega-product AHA!!!
And still wondering how I will ever get all those hours of video watching back...

    totally agree with Eddie

Jack's a nice guy (and Jason Fladlien's a world class copywriter :rolleyes, but...

    this course is -
    • agonizingly long (over use of video should be criminalized)
    • 99% theory
    • recycles portions of previous courses
(without the resources referred to being available!)
    • presents a business model (profit sharing) which could be a nightmare
(and in the case of realty is against the law - unless you have a license)
    • but most importantly, in the end leaves the buyer with absolutely no concrete structure to build a "real business" with

seekers would do much better spending their money on -
    • Chris Winter's Pay Per Call Ninja
    • or
    • Jack Hopman's (sp?) Lead Tracker Jack
as they both deliver (in different ways) concrete practical advice and structured methodologies
    (and both over-deliver like crazy)

    imho

I somewhat agree. I really like Jack, actually, and a lot of what he says and his general perspective on marketing validates some of my feelings on the subject, and I did pick up a few things regarding some lead generation tactics, but once it all was over, I was left thinking, "ok, so what do I do now?"

Agree with this... the course definitely got me thinking about off-line in new ways and some helpful tecnical tips too... but I'm stuck now and need some guidance.

I have a client willing to pay on a per-closed or per-lead basis, the niche is event planning... i wrote some lead generating copy and posted ads on craigslist, merchantcircle, olx, backpages, etc. but zero calls. So should I run more ads, hire a professional copywriter, create a website landing page, all of the above?

          My two cents -
          Find a different niche.

If I'm planning a big event - wedding/ offsite meeting, etc. the specific service provider is quite important - hard to convey that in a lead gen situation.

If I'm looking for an emergency plumber or locksmith - not so much.

As long as they seem legit - it's good enough.

      Hey Gary,

I'd like to re-think my response a bit. What I said , IMO, applies when picking a niche.

But, having reread your post - you already have a client willing to pay - there are lots of ways to generate business for them online - including those you mention.

You should use their USP - or help them create one - and develop marketing collateral - a 7 questions you must ask before hiring an event planner" type of thing. Then - create/run an auto responder series for them - event planning is not a "one touch" investment.

Seems like videos would be appropriate, as well.

Basically, become the "online ( and potentially offline ) marketing arm of your client. Just be sure your payout is big enough.

You can have a dedicated tracking number - callfire - so you and the client - can track and attribute results.

Event planning is a big ticket item - so even a few closed leads justify a high payout - if you can demonstrate the quality of your leads.

Using facebook, there are ways of "remarketing" visitors to your site who provide their phone number or email to you - for pennies per click.

      Best,

      Bill
