Hi All,

I have never sold affiliate products BUT is hear so much about CB (click bank) and PayDotCom etc. but not much about Commission Junction. Is there a reason for that?

THANKS! Just curious.

I use CB and CJ and a few other networks. PayDotCom is mentioned a lot but I haven't given it much thought. I've been over there a few times and the products just don't seem as good. Many of the CB products aren't that great either so you really have to do your research.

    Hi

As a publisher, I used ClickBank for several years because it's very convenient. The downside of using them is they give refunds to customers without contacting the publisher to remedy the issue. ClickBank has processed refunds for my customers for reasons like "I don't know what I purchased" and "I can't login" Instead of contacting the publisher they issue an instant refund. So that got annoying enough that I have started moving my business to paypal and using PayDotCom.com for my affiliate program.

    I hope this helps.

    Enjoy your day!
    Terry

Can you use paydotcom & clickbank to sell your products at the same time.

Paydotcom allows you to pay selected JV's a higher percentage, does Clickbank allow this as well

^^^^^^You took the words right out of my mouth, jpaduchack. Those were my sentiments exactly. I use Clickbank and Paydotcom. I try to give Clickbank the benefit of the doubt but Paydotcom for me, hands down, just outright converts better.

I've been making the switch from CB to Paydotcom myself due to the refunds. CJ is a good place to find products, but commissions tend to be lower due to many promotions being for physical products, as mentioned above. The good thing is that CJ has a lot of great brands and well know services to promote.

You can make a killing on Cj using adsense oh those physical products cause all the affiliates promote are clicbank and network offers.

    Cheers Nick.

I found CB's digital products to be too low calibre. Most of the vendors have landing pages that seem kind of sleezy. Just my two cents...

Use PDC. I agree about the refund situation on CB. Can cost you money in the end.

I have checked out all three of them and I prefer paydotcom over the others.

Like many others I was fed up with CB's approach of giving refunds to buyers just because they asked for one

Marketers are getting tired of it, and are deserting to PayDotCom as a better option

      I know I have.

CB has better wake up and change their refund policy soon.

It depends if you're looking at this from a publishers perspective, or an affiliates perspective.

As an affiliate, CJ has a huge range of (imo) far superior products and services then the likes of CB and PDC and is a great source of income for myself and many others.

However as a publisher, CJ has very strict standards that you must comply with and it's quite a challenge to actually "get in".

That's the advantage of being an advertiser with CB and PDC, there are hardly any requirements to join and it's a pretty laid back kind of experience (unfortunately as a result your money is handled in this fashion as well - see above posts).
