  I've dealt with both yahoo and GVO and I'm going to say GVO. I think they also have a free autoresponder with there hosting service. I only had yahoo for about two days and didn't have the best experience...

Honestly, neither. Find a company that specializes in web hosting. Yahoo does not & read some of the problems people are having with GVO.

I recommend Hostgator. I've never tried Yahoo, but I did have GVO for a couple of years, and they're limited in some ways. (i.e. certain scripts won't run on their hosting)

Hostgator has the best support I've ever seen, and for the price (compared to GVO) you just can't beat it.

I'd say neither Yahoo nor GVO.

Much prefer to use a "REAL" hosting company. Hostgator is just fine to get started.

I wouldn't even consider either of them. Yahoo's hosting is so limit and and GVO's just looks like a mask for their MLM program.

Agreed especially about the part that GVO is just masking their MLM program (which I was a part of until I realized I was getting screwed out of my leads for members that had been there longer)

And why consider Yahoo for anything?

THIS! Masking their MLM program, is just so right. Any successful business needs a great network so I guess, they're pretty good at it, on the other hand, since I have not actually tried their services, it is too bias to say that they're not good whatsoever.. anyhow, appreciate the thoughts

I would concur with what others have said - stick with a company that specializes in webhosting. You would be well served with something like Hostgator, which a lot of people here on WF like and recommend.

Or maybe try WebHostingHub[dot]com, which I've used with great success, and has reliable CPanel hosting and very good 24/7 customer support.

Neither. Yahoo isn't a hosting company even though they offer hosting. This means you'd have a package from a company not specializing in hosting. GoDaddy is in this category and their hosting is horrible.

GVO has periods of slow hosting, but it's gotten better recently. I use them for one package and one site, but they are not the best hosting company out there.

I also use HostGator and they are by far the best I've ever used. For my money, I'd choose HostGator.

I never heard of GVO before, and from the look at their website, they do seems questionable.

and NO their affiliate program is not promising ( I never heard of that before you need to be a reseller to be affiliate ).

Yahoo business might be a good option depending on the type of business you are up to.

With that being said, there are many other well known and more professional companies for hosting.

Neither I will say, as support is real important factor, and both don't have much of a good reviews for support. For this I will suggest try Webhost.US.com

It depends on what you would like to do.

I am not sure about Yahoo, but I can tell you what I know about GVO, as I am a customer of GVO Titanium Hosting, but I am not a Pure Leverage member.

GVO is not the best in hosting, but I find it as a rather good All in One.
Hosting uptime was around 98% based on UpTimeRobot. A solid hosting could offer up to 99.9%, (so everyday I may have lost 28.8mins (2% of a day) =P)
Unlimited disk space and bandwidth, autoresponder, webinar conference, etc.
And of course, the MLM factor... If you like MLM.

Support is not exactly 24/7 but so far I have good experience with them.
They helped me restored my public_html folder from their backup recently due to a silly mistake on my part at no cost, which I believe could have cost me an admin fee elsewhere.

Hostgator is a safe choice for beginners, but not a powerful one if you are thinking of using advanced wordpress plugins.

Yahoo web hosting seems aimed at the business owner that isn't too savvy and wants to set up a simple site for his business without having to hire someone to do it for him.

As a marketer I'd want something less restrictive; I didn't see any VPS or dedicated server options with them.

And I'm not a big fan of GVO's MLM structure. Not that there's anything wrong with legitimate MLMs, they're just not my cup of tea.

Get a real web host. One that specializes in hosting.

To get started hostgator is good. I am using there reseller account. Support is good. Is also depend on your needs. If you need Word press managed hosting then go for WPEngine. But it is expensive, never used it but heard good things about it.

You can also check insty.me/ , a new service started two or three months ago. They offer s$1 trial offer. Their support is good and has free autoresponder software too.
