Membership sites - which ones are useful to you?

Hi

I used to belong to the Wealthy Affiliate site, it was actually a pretty good resource but I eventually left as my marketing focus is no longer affiliate marketing.

I don't currently belong to any membership sites but I was thinking of trying one out again, and I was wondering which ones other marketers found useful?

Thanks

Bill

I like Jimmy Browns Membernaire. Teaches you how to create a Fixed Term Membership site. The problem is, there's so many ideas there, I spend more time thinking instead of "doing". That's my own fault though

If anyone opts out of that membership site, their nuts.

Being blunt honest stop trying to join membership sites - they just take your money.
Take the 300 that you could use for over 10 months.
Get one of those lovely 100 dollar coupons and use that 300 to get 100 accounts.
Then super target each keyword in a niche that you are competing in per 2 accounts that way you wont get scr-wed by having all your keywords in one niche.
Take the money you make and ploug it back into your site.
    I hope that helps.
You already belong to the marketing website that you need to be in.
    Thanks.

There is certainly truth in that, it's one of the reasons I stopped the Wealthy Affiliate membership. But I did find it to be worth the money in the way it brought a lot of resources together in one place. As I said I don't really do affiliate marketing anymore and that's what it focus on, so I left after a year. I don't regret the money I spent on it.

      Thanks for your input.

When I was a member... one of the coolest things they had was their site builder. They could charge a monthly fee just for that. They are very affordable for any of the newbies... but who needs them when you have the Warrior Forum?

Wow I see a bunch of crazy talk going on in here. What exactly is a membership site?

I think the membership sites are very helpful if they are targeted towards the specific niche of Internet Marketing you want to be involved in.

Infact, even if you are ALREADY successful with IM, spending a bit of money each month to add new tips and tricks to your repertoire is not a unwise idea!

I have been a member at earn1kaday since a year and this is one membership I WOULD recommend because it does not concentrate on one business model.

Tons of info is available on various business models and apart from the info, there are innumerable other ways the owner, Dennis Becker, keeps on adding value to the membership.

This is one membership I would not opt out of as long as I am an Internet Marketer.

I'll also add my vote for Earn1KADay. I've been a member for about 1 1/2 year now and think the membership is one that I'll be upholding for the long term.

      To add to the above;

Lots of nice, knowledgeable and civilized members.

I completed Membernaire and loved it. In Affiliatenaire right now and like it too. Jimmy always has high level and valuable training. Heavy on the fundamentals (not basics), which are really essential.

Been a member of Rich-Jerks and it was great - Noah is first class. The only reason I dropped is because I focus outside of internet marketing. There's a great group of folks in the forum.

I'm also a member of Nicheology and really like it. Paul Evans has really transformed it from a basic PLR site to a complete info-product training site. They're celebrating 5 years this month.

Jim Edward's The Net Reporter is great. It's a great deal ($97 a month??) and loaded with training/tutorials, etc. REALLY good.

Been a member of a lot of other sites as well, but those are my top picks among everything I have joined.

I focus on ONE online business model - Recurring Revenue (RR). If I can help you in any way just post a RR question or PM me.

Jim Edwards and Jimmy Brown are my 2 favorites to learn from. By far. And yes, TNR (The Net Reporter) and Membernaire are tremendous values!

      I also like Nicheology.

A little known site is crazymembership.com , 13 bucks a month with a lot of new products to download. The owner will not add them unless they have MRR or some other rights for distribution.
