I was able to get in and watch the video. Looks like it's going to be an awesome piece of software.

And, I'm pretty sure it said it would be a plugin that works with your current theme!

I'm sure most are frustrated that they can't get on the site to see the new platform. So, I found the video which is on the pre-launch. Watch below -

Was able to watch it earlier and it looks much more flexible and professional than version 1.

It looks like existing members will get a discount at launch but it wont be free. It's a totally new OP. It has a plugin and a theme. It will work with any theme you currently have. I am especially excited about this new drag and drop feature. Now IM beginners will definitely be able to get started faster.

Yes, the important thing to note here is that OP V2.0 is not an upgrade to V1.0. It's a completely new (different) platform. From what I have seen they will be offering a discount to those existing members but it won't just be a cheap upgrade of some sort.

But it does look very promising from what I've seen.

Looks absolutely superb, a lot more user friendly and a lot cleaner.

OP1 was great, and changed the way I marketed my stuff online. But the biggest gripe was adding the shortcodes and then refreshing the preview page to see what impact the changes I had just made looked like - this is far more drag and drop and you can see what your page looks like as you edit in real time.

Discount for original purchasers, I am in.

i just found what i'll be using for my membership site !!

I just bought Optimize Press about a month ago and had no idea they were coming out with another version. You would have thought James would let people know theere was another version in development and coming out soon. I don't feel like paying another $97, so I hope the deal for current members is pretty sweet.

I can't wait for OP2, I think it will be great but...

...what's te best choice? OP2, LeadPages, 10Minutepages?

I bought OP1 earlier this year, and as a theme it really worked. Launched my product ( as Andy Jenkins would say), 'Like A Boss'. Bit of a learning curve and the end result did its job as well as looking great.

Like a lot of us here I'm champing at the bit to get OP2 as the more I progress, the more I need ( or want!!!).

Pricing... Well, one would hope that existing customers/users receive a balanced discount, offsetting what they've paid already, even though OP2 is a new product.

Here's a thought though.

If you were James Dyson, and looking to weigh up what you are about to launch to your existing customer base, how much would you charge, taking into consideration so many different factors.

As said... Just a thought.

Oh, also, I see no prelaunch process going on ( as yet), other than forum discussion, his blog, and YouTube video...

Well, July is almost over, let's see what they put out.

why couldn't they launch this 2 weeks ago? I've spent so much time basically putting together a site with the OP2 look. I haven't followed up on OP2 since last summer, when they said it was coming out in late October. Oh well.

No wonder why other sales page themes have been blasting the market recently.
