I like to build a membership website, I have been told Kajabi is one of the best, do you have any suggestion on Kajabi and other service provider?

  Picking the two best depends on many factors, like what you want the plugin to do and what your budget is, for example. Two of the most used plugins would be DAP and aMember.

  It lets you build membership site without the need of any membership site plugin or script and the process of building it is absolutely seamless. I am in the process of constructing a membership site from scratch.

  My goal is to build a magazine/curation style website, with different sub-categories such as fashion, art, music, entertainment, music and etc...
  
  And with membership area that will let user who wants more exclusive digital content to sign up with a monthly fee, and also forum that's available to premium memberships for interaction and downloads, what would you recommend?

Kajabi has been a huge part of my business...love it.

Not the most flexible option if you want to do a lot of customization with your membership, but it's super professional, slick, reliable, and awesome.

  Here's an easy one to set up: membersonic which is WordPress plugin.
  
  My problem with membership software was that some (DAP/S2) were just too complex for me.
  
  Hope you will use free trials on the ones that look good to you before you purchase something.

I’m also in the process of developing a membership site myself and this is really helpful for me because there are so many choices and I didn't know what to choose. I will still continue to do my research but at least I can narrow down my search to the ones mentioned in this thread.

  I've tried several WP plugins. I highly recommend: Paid Membership Pro (free) and WP eMember (paid). The latter is outstanding because it can be integrated with affiliate and estore plugin.
  
  Of course, every marketer has their own opinion. It is a matter of habit. Today there is no bad plugin. There are only good and even better.

I am looking for a membership software that will "drip" the content. Looking at a 30-day course and each day the membership will get access to a new training video Looking at DAP but someone had suggested I check out Wishlist too.

Any suggestions from anyone that has used these packages?

DAP has a bit of a learning curve, but do avoid Wishlist, it's less than a complete product (my opinion based on the version I used 2 years ago, I still have the copy). Don't have experience with other scripts mentioned above.

I found all 3 that I used, Wishlist Member, DAP, Kajabi to to non user friendly so maybe it's just me but I need to keep shopping around for something new.
