Which Hosting you recommend?

yeah of course i know those popular ones...
but which package is recommend for my needs?
(more than 5k views per day, with 300 users online at a time)
does a shared hosting will work?

I've should mentioned that I didn't want Bluehost, hostgator or any EIG associated company.

Anyway After messaging some hosting providers, I think I'm going with stablehost.
Their support seems pretty good. (they've respond to my tickets in less than 30 minutes on a sunday)

And they didn't try to oversell their hosting, they said I sould go with one of the cheapest plans.

I'll give them a try. Plus I have 45 days of full money back guarantee.
So I have nothing to loose.

I would not suggest GVO. There is a thread all about warriors' experience with GVO here. Not to bash on your suggestion Frank, but I wouldn't want anyone to make the wrong decision based on your post.

I know this might not be the trendy reply, but I started online with Host Gator and I like them for several reasons - #1 You can start super cheap with unlimited hosting (shared) for $9.99
host as many sites as you want for that price.

#2 It is very WordPress friendly and easy to install via QuickInstall or Fantastico

#3 Their customer service is good (sometimes the wait is long online and via phone) but they have always solved any issue for me - even once when some sites I managed had viruses - they totally cleared it up and was easily able to restore sites from their backups. Also they are available 24/7.

#4 When you are ready to move up to a dedicated server or other more robust options, it is an easy move and easy to scale up and I have been very pleased with my upgraded servers.

OK, they aren't perfect, but over the years, they have done the job. I've thought from time to time about changing, but always stuck with them. There are lots of options and opinions out there, but a web host is the backbone of your business so choose well!

I've been using hostgator baby plan since 2009 (for my own personal sites) and I've never had any major issues.
I've been running 25+ sites on a Hostgator reseller account for the past 2 years and am very happy with them.
They did have some issues in 2013. My sites handled it just fine and in 2014 its been fantastic.

Some of my sites receive 500+ hits per day with absolutely no issues.
Some people have different opinions on Hostgator but if you're running average sites with low traffic I highly recommend them.
I do check my websites daily and they run just fine.
Yes there are times they are down but I've seen this with all hosting companies. It happens once in awhile.

I don't have experience with high traffic sites, or sending out high amounts of emails or needed to do special requests with Hostgator so I cannot comment on this.
I assume this is where people may have experienced issues because I have many sites that get average traffic that have worked out great.

Mr. Brent and Veerotech get my vote. Just talk to him your needs and he can fix you up with whatever fits the best.

I'm currently doing some traffic tests right now throwing 1000's of visitors a day to a few of my sites and there is zero slowing that i can detect. And this is just a shared account lol I want to push things to 5000+ visitors a day...maybe even spike it to 10,000+ to see what happens.

I know for a fact if you did the same with a HostGator shared account you would either be throttled or see a major slow down in load speed (or both??).

I did something like this before when i had an account with HG and with only 500 visits in a day i was pulled back. I'm not talking about big sites either, or even stuff to do with wordpress. They were just simple html squeeze pages and I was still throttled.
