Is Campus Explorer Legit, Guys?

Hey Guys,

So I have a niche site that has Adsense on it, and I was contacted by someone at Campus Explorer to discuss a partnership in which (similar to something like QuinStreet), I could have my visitors sort of search for schools in their widget (embedded on my site) or via a direct link on my site and I would get paid based on the generated leads.

The person I spoke with said they found me due to the Adsense placement--I guess they advertise via Adsense on my site (amongst others) and they often reach out to publishers they'd like to form a partnership with.

Long story short, guys, has anyone here worked with Campus Explorer? What has your experience been? Was it professional? Were the people easy to work with? Were you always paid on time?

And do you feel it's normal to ask you, in the initial application form, if your business carries liability insurance, or if your business entity is a Sole Proprietorship, an LLC, etc? Is that normal in situations like this?

Any and all information would be wonderful, and sorry if I posted this question in the wrong forum.

Yes, Campus Explorer is legit. I've been with them for a while and they convert quite well. Never had any problems with payments.

Have you used Quinstreet or Edusearch? I've recently been approached by Campus Explorer also and I think I'm going to give them a try on a few of my sites. Quinstreet has done very good for me, but since Bryce left the company I've been without an account manager and I feel a little ignored at a time when my traffic is really growing. I tried Edusearch, but the result have not been great.

      Hopefully CE will be better?

I've run both and have been more successful with CE than QS. QS revenue is all over the place whereas CE is pretty consistent. It probably depends on your niche within edu which one is better for your sites. No experience with Edusearch.

What implementation of QS are you running? Their basic search widget or the more complicated integration?

I run the basic sidebar widget as well as the zip submit search banner.

I really want to get the Campus Explorer widget up and running but its code conflicts with the WP theme I use. The theme creator gave me a bit of workaround code, but it still isn't right. I know nothing about CSS so I probably need to head to Odesk and get someone to customize something for me...
