Best SEO book/ebook/course?

I'm working with a virtual assistant overseas on an SEO project. I would like to purchase some SEO training materials to send her.

What is the best training course/book/ebook that I can get for her?

    There's lots of free stuff out there.

    Lots of people run blogs and have written ebooks on these subjects (like me, see my signature) and offer it for free.

    Why spend money when it's available for free?

      As people have noted, lots of free stuff if you search for it.
      Sometimes hard to get more than just bits and pieces for free, but here's where to get one free eBook:
      I can't post links yet, but Google "jennifer horowitz free ebook"

      My sig below links to an eBook I recently completed, which is meant for "non-techie" webmasters and/or owners of actual businesses to improve their own sites. It's called "Boost Your Website's Profitability: 200 proven, low-cost techniques you can use NOW to increase traffic and make more sales".

      (Of course I feel it's worth the $29.95 price, since I spent lots of time researching and writing it.)
