A few months ago I joined PremiumCPM. For those of you who don't know what PremiumCPM is, it is a Private Ad Network. Before joining I was extremely skeptical of them, but I joined after reading a thread about them on Digital Point. People posted payment proof and said great things so I was alittle more optimistic.

To start from the very beginning, I applied. Within an hour of applying, I was assigned an Account Manager, Dominick Romano, who set myaccount up, and sent me the login information and ad tags. I had quite a few questions for Dominick about best placement practices, and other ways to squeeze as much money out of my traffic as possible, and Dominick was extremely helpful.

So at the time PremiumCPM was using AOL's ADTECH platform, it was a complete nightmare. Their control panel was so difficult to understand, and use at first. I couldn't figure out what type of report to pull, so I had to email my Account Manager a lot to start. He was always helpful and responded at the longest within a few hours. Once I got the reporting figured out, then I noticed their reporting didn't calculate the eCPM's, it only calculated earnings and impressions. From what I saw originally, the CPM's were extremely low, and I was surprised considering how responsive and supportive the company is. I asked my Account Manager why the earnings were low and he explained to me the reporting doesn't reflect actual earnings, it is scaled down in most cases, and finalized at certain points throughout the month, and finally calibrated at the end of the month. Afterspeaking with him though, he gave me a better indication of where I stood, and I was a little more comforted by that.

I continued to run with PremiumCPM. When the month ended, I contacted my Account Manager on skype and I asked him for a more updated indication of what I'm earning and I was happily surprised. As weeks and a few months passed their reporting started getting a little more on track with actual earnings. One of the major things I didn't like about their reporting - It was not historical. So if you pull a report on October 1st for September then in November at some point pull another report for September, the reported earnings are different, and sometimes far off. But it makes sense why, it was explained to me that ADTECH doesn't actually save your eCPM at the time of actually serving the impressions. So if PremiumCPM's trafficking team or my Account Manager there updates something today it will change what is reported as earned yesterday. Long story short that was a nightmare.

To give PremiumCPM a lot of credit. They knew this was an issue, they wanted more transparency for their publishers. In November my Account Manager told me they are switching platforms and in December I switched out my tags. WOW. The new platform is Awesome. The earnings are much more accurate, and my eCPM's on their new platform have jumped up recently. They have 24/7 live operators who are available for support through a contact window on the new ad server, and in a lot of cases it was my Account Manager Dominick himself who was available to help me at all hours of the day and night. The new platform is a day and night difference, and the entire team at PremiumCPM is always extremely helpful.

Some more info about them. They pay a 70% RevShare. They also pay on NET45 (45 days from the end of the month). I have never had an issue with payment, once or twice it was 2-5 days late, which is no big deal, holidays etc.

I would absolutely recommend you check out these guys out. Their site is PremiumCPM | Private Ad Network catering to high end clients
