Best Web Hosting Service?

Hi everyone, I gave up internet marketing a while back and was with hostgator. I'm starting it again and would really appreciate it if someone could recommend me a good hosting service.

I would have went back to hostgator, but there's a few threads in the forum saying their servers are down from time and time, and have bad customer support.

I'm looking for a hosting plan with unlimited domains, bandwidth and diskspace, nothing big.

I'd really appreciate it if you guys could help me, thanks in advance.

Oh nothing big, I just want unlimited space and unlimited access to it.

Any host that offers you anything unlimited is being dishonest with you.

Sorry for being so vague. You're right every hosting plan offers that, but just wanted to ask for your opinion to find a good reliable hosting service.

To be fair, its dishonesty in the same way that ISPs, cell phone companies, and all you can eat buffets are dishonest--"unlimited" plans provide enough resources for the vast majority of people

Its true that HostGator's quality has declined a bit, but its still a decent host.

I'd take a look at HawkHost or MDDHosting if I was you.

Kingfish is going out of his way to be non-promotional and fair, but I've read a lot of good things about VeeroTech...

Might be worth your time to check them out.

[Disclaimer: I am not a customer. Like I said, I've just read a lot of unsolicited good things about the service in various threads.]

Can you give any details about the site(s) you're looking to host?

What are the future plans for it/them?

Do you have a budget in mind?

    How about a location preference?

Any specific features you're looking for?

It's going to be a fitness site with product reviews, and then posts on fitness in general, e.g weight loss tips etc.

Not looking for location preference or any specific features, it's just going to be a simple blog.

I really like WiredTree for dedicated servers. Customer support is top notch and 99% uptime, never had any problems. Bluehost is the worst - stay away!

Like I mentioned, do your research first before choosing a provider, else you'll be right back reporting all sorts of problems.

I don't think there is a "best web hosting" service, honestly. I own a hosting company, too. When it comes to your site and hosting needs, different providers will offer different solutions, and what works for someone else, might not be ideal for you.

Also, you should understand the fallacy of "unlimited". Everything has limits. Even though Hostgator advertises "unlimited" hosting they put a limit on inodes.

And if you're worried about the HostGator datacenter problems keep in mind that EIG owns all of the big names (i.e. JustHost, BlueHost, iPage, FatCow, HostMonster), so it not uncommon to see performance issues spill over to the rest.

Look at hosting service from ifastnet.com.
