Hi Warriors,
anyone try this Kindle Niche Research and Marketing software called "AK Booster Pro" yet? It was just released today and I received an email about it.
Thanks.

    Hi Paddyboy,

Yes, I have had a chance to try it out. In my opinion, it's a pretty amazing piece of software. I don't usually get to try a lot of the really cool Kindle software out because I am running a MAC, and most are made for PC's, but AKBooster runs on Adobe Air, so it's compatible across the board. (which is a breath of fresh air!)

I just sent an email to my Bootcamp students informing them about this software, so I will kind of sum up what I shared with them...

So, in a nutshell, this is what the software can help you with:

    1. Find profitable niches with EXACT competition and demand scores. The competition score indicates how hard it will be to outrank similar book ideas and get your book seen on Amazon. The demand score indicates how well that keyword or key phrase you have chosen is selling on Amazon.

This is an awesome thing to have on hand when you are deciding which niche to get into. AKBooster shows you how profitable each keyword will be, and exactly how hard you have to work to start making money from that idea. This data is pulled straight from Amazon. It kind of reminds me a little of Market Samurai the way it is set up.

You can find lots of profitable keyword ideas and niches and find out how in-demand they are and how much you can earn from them on Amazon.

You can use it for fiction and non fiction. If you are a fiction writer, AKBooster will show you what types of keywords and phrases will help rank your fiction book high in Amazon's search results...even if you already have a title and genre picked out.

    2. Find quality reviewers on Amazon, Goodreads, and Facebook that have recently given good reviews to other books in your niche. The software provides you with their Amazon user name, their email, and their website address if they have one, so you can easily reach out to these folks and request real legitimate reviews.

This software not only provides you with the contact info of quality reviewers in your niche, but it only lists reviewers who are currently active. This is an important piece of the puzzle when finding reviewers. This can save you a ton of time.

    3. Submits your book to free promotional sites and Facebook reader groups on the web that allow you to advertise your book during its free KDP Select promotional days. These are sites like Pixel Of Ink, eReader News Today, KBoards, etc. You can also submit your book to paid sites like BookBub and Kindle Nation Daily. This will save you many hours of frustration and time trying to get those free downloads for your books.

And we all know that those free downloads lead to future buyers!

Even if you already use a marketing took for your books, I recommend you check out the link that leads to the demo of the software that was provided to you in the email you received.

Hope that helps a bit. I am not the kind of person that buys every little Kindle tool that comes out, nor one to just aimlessly promote things, but I think AKBooster is a good investment based on what I have seen. And it's pretty affordable....at least it is right now while the product launch is taking place.

    Good luck!

      Hi Reez1,

I'm not sure what the OTO is, or if there is one....maybe someone else could chime in with that answer.

This is on the JV page from muncheye:

        "Frontend Price: $17 & $27
        Upsells: $67
        Downsell: $37"

So yeah there's an upsell and a downsell. Looks good though.

The upsell is a lifetime access to Independent Authors Academy

The downsell is access to Independent Authors Academy without the Done-For-Your Premium Kindle Book Covers, Done-For-You Kindle Market Research and Kindle Authors Forum.

          Hope that helps.

I have it, but can't get it working on my mac. Any one with a similar issue? The "Get Score" button doesn't work. The help desk hasn't figured it out yet.

I looked at this software. It's pretty with its colors, but it does not tell you HOW it came to the conclusion it came to. It's ok for what I like to refer to as the "AOL" crowd... if anyone remembers those days. Overall it's ok, but it does not provide you any real info other than a "green" or "red" signale. If you don't care HOW the software came to the conclusiona and you are willing to follow it no-questions-asked, then this might be for you.

The site submission part of it (where they give you places you can submit your book to for the free promotion) is just a simple frame of this site: Free Sites To Promote Your Books | Book Praiser

And the Amazon top reviewer thing, well you can get it free here: Amazon's Top Customer Reviewers

it's $97 now! Or am I mistaken something? Quite a jump from $17 to $97. And no real reviews could be found, just awful lot of affiliates, did somebody really bought it? For $97 it must be real good, what's the reality?
