GSA SER ÷ GSA Captcha Breaker = spam?

GSA SER is giving me random comments on 20 of my websites. All of my websites are host by Word Press. I am getting 500 coments per day, is this suppost to happen? No one is using the share button on the post, or clicking on the affiliate links. Am I suppost to improve these comments or something? If I do, will it boost my rankings? This is what I use to submit my content:


- article
- social bookmarking
- social network
- trackbacks
- web 2.0
- wiki

I keep using different seo link building tools that are trash. Others like Senuke XCr is garbage. Is it time for me to give up on search engine optimization? Should I move on to social media marketing, mobile advertising, search engine marketing, and display advertising? SEO is wasting my life. If anyone know what are the most effective search engine optimization of 2014, please let me know.

    They're not garbage. They are tools that can be used to get your content out to a wide variety of targeted sources. The fact that there are those that use the tools for spam doesn't reflect on the tool but on the marketer using them. I've been ranking sites with this and Magic Submitter for years. And it all comes down to your content. Some will take the shortcut, others will actually do it right and develop quality content both for their sites and for offsite distribution. SEO and SEO tools work, but most don't want to take the time to properly learn it and then keep up with it. This doesn't make the tools invalid.

      The tools leave garbage links. No way around that. You cannot use any of these tools and get great organic links. People cried last year from using these tools and they will cry more using them this year and the year after. The game has changed with Penguin and other algo updates. Its no use pretending that they still are great going froward.

      The only way to use these tools in a half way effective manner is to used tiered link building but that too is under the gun and will no doubt see more hits against that technique from Google.

      Hello there. Thanks for contacting me. I really need you help. I have been doing internet marketing for 3 years. Which software you had better luck with? I watch tutorial videos and everything and still no luck.

      How many days does it take to see results from GSA SER? It has been 7 days, this is not long, but right now, my blog has been spammed with unwanted comments. When I submit I used public proxy and still have high verified links. But is it because they have been sent to the wrong websites?

      cypherslock, should i approve these spam comments to boost my rankings? I wish I can find someone to success with me.

        I must say that GSA having their own captcha program is pretty sweet. That said, however, it makes it even more of a spam cannon than ever before.

        cTory, I highly recommend you get your own site and do some serious budgeting to get a domain name for yourself and hosting. Even on the cheap you're looking at a one time $10 for domain and $5 a month for hosting. I must advise against using wordpress or any other web 2.0 site and expecting good results.

        I have only ever really seen good results with GSA and youtube videos. It appears that the videos can take the punch (they'll likely shift in algo again so spam links will be devoured, but for now they seem doable).

        Running your GSA for 7 days on a youtube video, if your keyword research is spot on, should push you up in ranks for low competition terms. When i tested SER for some videos (vimeo included) youtube ranked the fastest even with crap links.

        I no longer use software like GSA, Magic Submitter, Licorne...whatever (never used Senuke, hah) but youtube is your absolute best bet IF you want to go the spam cannon route.

        So no aggressive judgments here lol. Just neutral advice of what works from someone who has been there and done that (and moved on ).

            Eh, for a long term site you care about I use guest posts, my own blog network links and the following cluster of links: youtube, document sharing sites, tumblr, some article directories and other various sources that fluctuate as they become or less popular.

            I do not spam links or create spun articles for my long term sites. Why would I? I need link bait that people want to share and link back to.

            Even some of my youtube videos have reached some serious PR (not that PR strictly matters now) but it gives you an idea of creating strong links that also create traffic.

            Search engine traffic is the side effect of good links, and as my links give me traffic anyway I get the best of both worlds.

            No automated tool needed.

                  GSA SER works great if properly applied on Youtube videos. I ranked a video on page one in just a few hours. As mentioned before though, you need to know what you are doing so you don't get spanked!

    This is a great thread. But I heard that it works better for Tier-2 and above links. Need to test it for several case studies.
