Attention MAC users!! What has been your experience using Windows Parallel for Mac?

I have downloaded the trial verison of Windows Parallel and am finding it extremely difficult to use on my Mac. Wondering if it's better off to seriously just buy a Windows based computer. Would love to hear you chime in on your experience.

I don't like parallels as well as VM Ware - search for it online. Also, on my last MacBook I had a local computer shop partition my hard drive for me and set it up - worked much better that way than my setup. They also installed the Windows software and created a shortcut to get to the Windows environment. Works great now!

The best Windows box I've ever owned is my MacMini Server running Parallels. You need RAM and ample storage. I have 8 gigs of RAM on my Mac and the combination works very well for me. I have two partitions in Parallels, one for XP and the other for Windows 8. I also tried this on a 2006 Macbook Pro with 2 gigs of RAM and less storage. It was slow and sluggish.

      Hope this helps.
