I have heard mostly good things about this site. While it is true that some of the advertising and promotion is done in possibly a deceitful way it still seems like it's worth checking out. So I just had one of my FB friends mention to me that it is now free to join and be a member(as of recently) . I'm just wondering if that is true. I'm sure you still have to pay for hosting but I am curious if anyone knows about that and if it has indeed changed a bit recently. Thanks.

Hi Mike, I have used Wealthy affiliate and though a good programme and geared towards newbies..if you wish to find out whether it's free to join or not..an easier way to find out! rather than waiting for a reply here at WF..check it out yourself.

Well I thought I might also get feedback from those who have used it. Yeah, I could check it out but I thought I would get some feedback here first. Usually with these kinds of programs you have to give them your email and make some kind of commitment before you join and find out for yourself and I wanted to avoid that if possible(at least for now).

Fair enough Mike, in answer to your question though..WF is still free, you can signup for a starter pack..I was a member for a while but found it very easy to get lost through information overload, as it's very in depth..but if you have the time to go through all the information on the site then great
There are alternatives you could look at, depending what you really want and your goals.
Feel free to PM me and we could talk more..

A website geared towards online affiliate marketing, You can create a website for free, 2 actually and use them to promote products from places like Amazon, and Commission Junction for example. Follow the training Here but be diligent in your training, it is free to start the program and it wont make you rich quick, but it could if you work hard enough. I just started and I can assure you there is no scam involved, just work at your training and eventually reach your goals.
Remember it's free to get rolling out 2 websites that are real so, if you dont like it. Dont do it

It's a good training site but doesn't have the tools like say, Pure Leverage. I know the guys over at both places. It's a good place and I'll leave it at that.. A bit pricey though at $47 a month.. take care.......

    Mike,

I have been with Wealthy Affiliate for a little while now and I opted to become a Premium member @ $47/month or about $1.50 a day, as the entire program holds great value for me.
I won't try to sell you on anything other than if you wish to get involved for Free to check it out I think you can do that for a week.
You do get 2 websites and access to some very good IM training. I find that they actually have a very large entrepreneurial community that I get some great additional value from.
I come from a PC hardware tech & Net/IT Security background like many at WA, I presume that is with good reason? I hope this info helps

    Be well,

We tried WA and were surprised with how poor it is, considering all they hype.

The 'free' system really doesn't give you enough info as a beginner to 'get it'... Chris Farrell's membership on the $5 trial will give you more information and in a more logical, easier to digest manner, even if you go through everything in 7 days and cancel.

    This isn't rocket science.

Wealthy Affiliate is a lot like Empower Network... They push, push, push for you to upgrade, and once you do, the push, push, push to promote WA. Actually, they start pushing to get you to promote WA BEFORE you upgrade.

This is why you will find an OVERWHELMING amount of positive reviews online about it... They are all trying to make commissions, so the truth gets skewed... Just like with EN.

It really is a 'Pay for this system I pay for so you can make money' -system with 4/5 of the info (freely available here at the Warrior Forum) locked behind a paid upgrade.
