I CAN SCREAM TOO YOU KNOW!! Just kidding .. Haven't hired you but seen good reviews on here

Now to the OP, you need to figure out what "groove" you want to get into... and search for coaching who coach on it.

hustlinsmoke may teach Social Media Methods and Affiliate Methods, But maybe he doesn't know enough in product creation to coach you on that(IDK IF HE DOES OR DOES NOT.. ASK HIM ). Find out what you wanna learn and then find a coach, they are all over this board.

I'm not one so don't ask

    Why you need a coach?

    1. A coach can help you reframe everything you do. Armed with the global perspective of who you really are, you can figure out not where you're going but where you want to go.

    2. Hiring the right coach is like hiring a strategic planner for a war you're about to wage. Battle plan in hand, you can march into the unknown and change everything.

    3. Sometimes you need someone to remind you how great you can be.

I'm happy I have the best mentor with me.

BUT, don't forget A Coach is just a Helping HAND.YOUR SUCCESS is in YOUR HAND.

Great Stuff! I couldn't agree more. One more thing that I would like to add though that I think can be a huge benefit of a coach is that a coach or mentor can show you what NOT to do!

One of the best coaches I ever had (in the offline world actually) told me on Day 1 "I can save you tons of time and headaches by telling you all of the mistakes to avoid...because I have made all of them already so you don't have to."

And he did tell me a lot of things and mistakes to avoid. He definitely saved me a lot of time and headaches. Now of course I still made my share of mistakes (still do ) but his advice on what not to do really did save me in many ways.

So I would definitely say that a really great coach and mentor will show both what to do and what not to do as well. Good Luck!

Use your due diligence. Research, ask for recent success work history, and yes most importantly don't rush like I did. My mistake I made in the past months was I was PM'd by a mentor who clamed he was an "expert" in Adwords making over 30k a month, when I posted in a thread regarding PPC. Maybe he is making over 30k monthly or maybe he's trying to build up his portfolio for future coaching to charge very high for clients.

He never charged a dime, said he was going to mentor me for free, which was true. I asked a ton of questions in the front end of where I was struggling etc. He gave all these promises he was going to show me how to build profitable campaigns and show me the right angles, proper keywords, everything. And during the next few weeks, I was spending that time paying tech guys getting my website designed, hosting, PHP etc. And they were reasonably priced. I was reading guides and skyping with my trainer daily. I spent hours and hours, late endless nights until it was time to launch my campaigns.

Then came the TRAP I fell into. My mentor asked me to write a positive testimonial for him to paste onto his "Mentor" website. I was thinking well, if I do that, this guy is going to the extra mile for me and deliver on his promises. Ha! So I thought.

So the moral of this story is: This "FREE" mentor I put my trust and hard work into, turned out to be a self centered "all about me" loathing prick. Totally left me in the dark, left me all dazed and confused. The bottom line is, "Time Is Money". I may not have lost money (except for losing my ass in adwords) to this so called mentor. But I lost a lot of time. My mistake is I trusted someone I should not have trusted.

There are good mentors out there, hard to find, but they're out there. And any mentor who asks, or should I say beg, asks you to write a testimonial for them to stroke their ego, charge them for a high price.

        Wish you best of luck.

Research, research and more research. Ask questions, check references, etc.

It's best to have an idea of what you want to do, but not necessary.

You can also find good membership sites that you can use to learn at your own pace. Explore your options.

I wonder if there's anyone out there who's expert at helping people find the right coach.

Sort of a coach for those finding coaches... Like a head hunter. That'd be a useful person.

There are good coaches and bad coaches. I recommend you look for a coach that has a good reputation of giving value to his/her customers and has years of experience working online.

I also recommend you don't make a decision too fast. Make sure you understand the coaching terms and if there is no money-back guarantee then you really have to make sure that you're dealing with a trustworthy individual.

I've heard stories of coaches taking people's money and running and I fell victim to this myself in the past.

First you'll have to decide for what you need coaching.

There are many things you can do to make money online and you have to choose a thing and then look for coach for that specific area.

I am not sure a jack of all trades kind of coach will do you any good.

I will also not recommend finding coach on the Warrior Forum. There are far too many fakes here.

The poster is asking for NAMES of mentors you know to be helpful, not goofy philosophical spins on the topic at hand. Too many posts without useful info.
How about, " I know of a mentor in this area of IM, his/her name is...____and they taught me this and that, and now I make $ xxxx amount per month due to their teachings."
The poster can take that info and do some investigating. Too many posters hijacking threads with redundant drival.

If you can afford it, find a coach. There are some on this forum but it is important to check their reputation and their background. I was fortunate to find a good one and he helps me a lot during the first weeks and his advices serve me today as well.

Most of what a coach can teach you is available for free on the Internet and especially on this forum but, at the end of the day a mentor will save you a lot of money and you will reach your goals faster and you will do less or no mistakes.

Honestly this thread is ridiculous!! Answer the question with a name and your direct experience. Stop bloating your own thread counts when it's clear most of you are earning zero yourselves.

I can recommend Tom Ness - and that's about it out of 10 coaches I've had some shockers.

I've tried several time here on this forum, but unfortunately not luck ! well someone offered free coaching and was very helpful for about 2 weeks, but then that person got rid of his online business and focused more on off line ventures !
Anyway I got a lot more coaching offers from people who wanted $$$$-$$$$$, but they were not happy to show recent work history or results !

Firstly reading the question here about needing a coach, I thought this would make interesting learning for me.

It did, but in a hugely different way. I had expected to learn names or perhaps here about some that others thought were great.

However, I actually learnt that I had been awesomely blest when I found a coach.
I was so gullible at that time I could have been really taken for a ride, but wasn't.

Wow, so easily I could have been caught out and left burned or at lease bruised badly so to speak.

Thank youi for all the comments in here. I do have to say, these comments are not wasted. They have been very helpful in teaching caution if nothing else.
Many blessings got to my coach/mentor, who is so obviously trust-worthy.
