Recommend me a local SEO company

I am interning for a guy who finances fix and flips, new home construction, etc.

He recently had a website built for him and now is looking into SEO. He wants to attract people on a local level, as he only deals with people in our county (and surrounding counties).

He wants to be on the front page of google for a variety of (mostly localized) keywords, and I am wondering who you all would recommend?

It has to be a professional looking business, otherwise he wont even consider it.

Please describe why you would recommend the company (no self promotion).

      All I could do is promote myself as we are a Local SEO company and don't hire other Local SEO companies

      You've probably already tried this but what about just Google'ing Local SEO companies in your area and then vetting them?

      I could provide you with some questions to ask them that will immediately separate the good ones from the bad ones.
