Frank Kern's Mass Control

With the latest news about Mass Control being relaunched, I'd like to ask the question: Has anyone (here, obviously) bought Mass Control? What is your take on it? I know he boasts high sell outs, but I get the feeling that stating such a high demand in words and then promoting his quality products IS what mass control is.

I've been on his mailing list (forever) and have found his information very good, but never had enough (or a complete walk through) to be able to apply it, monitor my progress and see results with a time frame.

Please post in this thread if you have bought his material and:
  • Found it useful (obviously the $1997 price tag makes it clear that anyone buying it intends on making money.
  • Had to return it (what was your experience?). Did you get a refund?
I'll also include a poll...for poll sake..since I like polls.

I bought it and it's great.

I think Frank (or is it Irwin?) is beginning to share a little too much of the MC core.

      Thanks for posting.

I promote it every time it launches cause i'm a customer of the original and I have built my entire business based on the course.

it's insanely profitable if you implement it. Plus Frank takes really good care of his customers.

It does seem that a lot of people with limited knowledge and success seem to have a lot of opinions.
Good marketing goes over a bad marketers head and under their feet too, they just don't get it. What might be seen as filler by some is actually very well thought out and designed to hit on any number of psychological triggers. Of course, if you are only looking for magic bullet tactics and tricks, and care not for strategy then you won't catch the stuff.
Yes, all of the info found in Mass Control can be found in other places for cheaper. All the info needed to do brain surgery could also be found freely online, but you might be more successful by actually going to medical school and having real doctors show you how to do it.
If your an intermediate level marketer, kind of "stuck" and wanting to take your business to the next level, you would be hard pressed to find a program better then mass control.

I'm not a die-hard fan of Kern's stuff, but I think the whole FTC thing was about 5 years ago and he addressed the whole story in one of his webinars. People make mistakes.

What I have seen of his certainly impressed me. Fluff? No, not really. Although most of the internet marketer gurus throw a lot of fluff in their videos to "create demand" and get you hooked with just enough information so that you love it, but can't actually use it.

I guarentee the whole FTC thing makes him a bigger "name" and gives a great hook, and that when he did the whole "come clean" thing that it made people trust him more than if he'd never been in trouble with the FTC... that's great marketing and it's stuff like this that is more valuble than a quick way to make $200 on craigslist with CPA or whatever the new big wso is.

the FTC could come after 99% of the wso sellers if they wanted to. If you're in IM then Kern took one for the team- suck it up!

You're making it sound like the purpose of the extra stuff is to fill time when it's not. It's to make you conect and like him, push certain buttons and lead you into being willing to buy from him... If you buy MC then it's what you hope to do to your prospects so you can't blame him, especially if he tells you what he's doing as he's doing it, and is teaching you to do the same! Think of it as a live example.

Hey if it's said enough then it it "must" be true... and eventually it does become true!

After Frank's first MC video where he talked about sending emails that looked like they were coming from a friend to increase the open rates (but not to lie - ROFL), I was one and done.

Do yourself a favor, go to the bookstore and pick up some books on business.

There is NOTHING these IM guys can tell you about sales and marketing that hasn't already been said a hundred times. If Frank speaks to you, so bet it. But, I'd rather seek counsel from people who have run fortune 500's and for a fraction of the cost.

I think Frank needs a haircut, a personal trainer and perhaps he should think about putting down the remote Kerntrol.

....over and out from the gates of Kernstown

              I totally agree.

Frank Kern is basically repeating everything that Dan Kennedy has ever done with the exception that DK is offline and FK is online.

I would spend $100 and go through Dan Kennedy's No B.S. books and sign up for his No B.S. Newsletter before getting to Frank.

Similar info, much much cheaper price point. Save yourself the money and try out Dan Kennedy. Of course, that's just my opinion.

Yes, but so do all the other internet gurus too... I'm sure Kern, Kennedy, Silver and Pagan have yearly luncheon with their families every year.

Yes, very similar. I found the No BS books though to be more "pow pow - wow wow" books of Kennedy boasting his stuff. Kern's approach is a little more 'sly' (wrong word, I know). Of course Kern's psychology works in the background of everything.

We all could learn a ton for FREE I have personally learned a whole lot from this forum. would I pay to be a part of this Forum now that I see the value?

Yes would I pay 1997 no and yes over time I would, however if paying 1997 got me access to the top 100 Warriors yes.

Why then is the War room only $37 bucks beats me.

Like all things it is more about the individual buying than the guy selling you could invest a million in a total book, audio, video retreat for 5 years and still come out losing money.

Before we run to buy anything and believe me I got mad respect for Frank Kern, but even in the case of buying his deal.

The first question are you ready to take what you may learn and go full throttle crack a bottle and bang at this business model till the wheels fall off?

Then Frank Kern or John Reese or any of the other People who I have spent money with and learned from wont help at all.

Personally I still haven't implemented more than 15% of TS 2.0 and it have paid for itself 10x over imagine when I apply the rest of it?

It is not the price tag they put on their worth it's the price tag you put on yours. Don't hate the player win the game..or lose the balls in your hands.

hmm, how comes some said "no", or "some of it has".

Votes should be "Yes" all round.

Hmm, I guess some aren't following the instructions properly.

I tried Mass Control in December and it produced $26,000 in 9 days from a small list.

I only implemented about 20% of it, probably would have made a lot more if I had done everything.

It clearly works if you take action and you desire to make lots of money with it.

      Franks stuff is great...

But most of his story stuff is from Kennedy's Creating personality in Copy....
Much of his NLP stuff is covered in numerous NLP books...

One thing I do find incredibly impressive is that many of the NLP guys say he's one of the best....

Sure enough even the big dog tony robbins hired him to do his web stuff...Say what you want about tony robbins, but if he's seeking you out to do his stuff..You gotta have your marketing ducks in a row...

Sure everything has been said, but many times getting someone to sort through all that's been said and put it together in a complete package is priceless....

I used just 1 of kerns emails on my own exhausted list and pulled $900 from 1 email....this is a list that wouldn't even respond to a 75% off sale...

I have listened to kennedys: copyclinic, magnetic marketing, millionaire round table, copy in a box, renegade millionaire...and, after all of that I couldn't have put together such an awesome email as the one I got from kern....

That's not to say you shouldn't Sign up for franks list and keep a file of all correspondence you get, then follow it to a teee......

I'm pretty new to Frank Kern and I learned about him from the 30 day challenge guy Ed Dale I believe his name is. After watching Frank's videos, my conclusion is that he's like an authority figure on marketing psychology. He seems big on the subliminal trance mind-control ideas.

All I know is if I were to pay $3,000 - $5,000 to go to one of his seminars to hear him tell stories about high school and do a stand-up routine instead... I'd be upset.

In one of the videos, there's two guys in the front row dressed in business shirts taking notes all serious as Frank talks about "Give me some mo**** fu**** money". I wonder if they jotted that down.

I am not an affiliate of Kern but I do own Mass Control (bought it recently). If you are new, don't buy it. You won't have the foundation to use it. If you already have a business going on the internet, it will give you insight to more than make your money back.

Isn't that the true judge of a product? You buy it, implement part of it and get a good ROI? You mention buying a marketing book (I have several book cases full of them and have read nearly all of them Kern brings a different viewpoint. His stuff on pattern breaks is very valid psychology. If you want some basics read Cialdini for researched information.

Before you decide on buying any product, look at what they give you. Kern provides a lot of free information. Do you use it? Does it help? If you don't use the free stuff he gives (which is easily worth $97 if you put it in an ebook) then you won't use the paid stuff so don't buy it.

If you find the free information he gives away useful and makes you money, use the profits to buy the course.
