Has any one used SiteSell?

Hi guys,

Has anyone heard of Ken Envoy, the creator of SiteSell?

He seems like he created an amazing system.

I have been reading the SiteSell case studies here:

SBI! - Case Studies

The results are impressive.

I want to know if anyone in the warrior has used them and been successful with them.

If you could post your URL's then that would be an added bonus.

Peace

They've been around for years and have been
recommend highly by sites like 2createawebsite.com

Personally, I would invest my money into the Wealthy Affiliate
Program especially if I was a beginner.

I've used SBI years back, and while it is easy to use, it is also really expensive.

There are better solutions out there, I personally am about to release much cheaper alternative. Check it out at WebsiteNoob.com

I've used Sitesell for the last 5-years and it has more than paid for itself. I don't see why everyone is saying it's so expensive when you really break it down it's NOT.

The cost is $299 for a year, $25 a month, for hosting, tutorials, analytics, auto-responders, and more. The price is very comparable to other fees elsewhere.

For starters I highly recommend it. If you follow the system they have in place "You Will" generate an income with your site - the amount you generate is all dependent on other factors.

The best thing that hooked me in my first year was the fact they have a 100% money back Guarantee - so I could test drive the system and if it didn't work for me I could get a refund, but the system worked - I gladly pay my fee each year...

The return I get every month is way better than any stock market or 401k investment I've ever made.

      Hostgator: $60/yr unlimited domains
      GetReponse: $117/yr Unlimited autoresponders/10k subscribers
Tutorials: Free and even more free.
      Analytics: Free.

Right off the bat, you're saving $122/yr by doing it alone. Plus, you can host unlimited domains. The cost of $299/yr at SBI is for ONE domain.

Read through this forum, learn and bust a move. Everything you need is here.

No matter what you do, make sure you're capturing emails and building a list. That's where the money is.

Finally, this belongs in the Review area not the Main Discussion.

Everyone seems to focus on how expensive Sitesell is - but I would ask you: compared to what?

If you compare it to throwing up a wp blog then its expensive, but if you compare it to the costs of a fully optimized, seo submitted site with in-built ezine and mailing list handling capability and unlimited autoresponders, that even noobs can manage, built any other way then in my view its actually very cheap.

My Sitesell site is over 250 pages of unique content, Alexa rank 220000 and Google Pr4 with around 2000 UVs per day

Everything is done for $300 per year!

My site is at Your career change.com for new jobs, career change help and careers advice

I use SBI. There is a ton of training and has its own Forum. It does a lot of work behind the scenes for you. Their Keyword tool is incredible as well. My site is not totally complete yet. If you have difficulty with it Rocky Tapscott has a simplified coaching course. His help is well worth the purchase. He tells you more than SBI does. www.hire-a-ghostwriter.com

    Hello,

I am a site build it owner. Wealthy Affiliate sucks compared to it, plain and simple.

Site build it will teach you
how to find a profitable niche
    SEO writing
    preselling
    monetizing your site
    which is all great.
What I don't like is the newsletter module. I use aweber.
I think you can speed up the learning curve but it works.

I make $900/month every month with just one site build it site and it has only 50 to 60 pages.
20% of those are on the #1 spot of Google.

I highly recommend you start with SBi and then as you become more savvy, you can move to something else.

    Take care

I used it, for about three years, my site at one time was making around $400 per month.

However I completely lost interest in the topic of the site and sold it for $2100 after 3 years.

The site had around 100 pages of completely unique content.

For me it was well worth the investment.

Let's try get this one back on target!

Does SBI (site build it) work?

    Yes but
It is a serious tool for beginners who want to learn all, see all, and do all.
There is a lot of work to follow. The site builder IS simple, but only after some good trial and error (although there are loads of videos, articles, forum help).

The standard templates are basic (but they do work for most sites).
If you have the basic skills (or the money) to do your own, then the same option applies as they would with any hosting company. The sky's the limit.

The brainstorm and keyword tool can match anything else I use (and I use 2 other tools).

And without coming across like a promotion, you can find out the rest of what it can do on the website!

In my opinion (and I have 2 websites with site build it), it is great for beginners wanting to have an easier ride to building a website and growing a business online.

You will learn EVERYTHING (and I say it as a fact, not as a praise) about what, why, who and how you build a successful business online.

However, I'm not suggesting it guarantees you'll become successful. I am saying if you follow their advice completely, then you have a far better chance of long term success than most.

If you are more interested in growing your business WITHOUT doing all the back ground work (design, look and feel, content creation, web master stuff etc), then I honestly can say it is an excellent choice for anybody, at any level.

If you outsource some, or all of the website work (which is a cost you have to think about), then I do recommend it. But you need to remember that in truth you really need an SBI certified webmaster or someone who really knows the site build it way, and they do tend to be more expensive than other webmasters.

    Would I own a 3rd SBI site?

Yes for big content sites. No for small or multiple mini sites. That's not to say they are not good for mini sites, they definitely are, but the cost would be more.

Bottom line. I love SBI (sorry for the site build it pun)!
But honestly, they taught me a great deal of truths (in the early days when it really does count), and you don't always see that too often online.

Their step by step approach is excellent for beginners, but I did find it hard at first, but I was slow to learn with the page builder, and I was more interested in growing the website, learning how to, rather than worry over the design, uploading etc etc (hence the reason I don't do any of the back office stuff anymore).

The cost. I really do not know what the problem is?

For what you pay ($299), for one year (which is all up front by the way), with all they give you, it really is worth much, much more. And it works out at less than .90 cents a day, so not so bad,

"but one payment up front does not suit everyone".

I guess it depends how much faith you have in yourself to stay the full course, or whether you really do want a head start at building a business online (without having to leave your back office at site build it).

Almost every bit of information required to have a better chance at survival and success online is part of the deal. And I can vouch for the quality of what they teach.

Whether you use site build it or someone else, truth is you are the only one who makes it win or lose, succeed or fail.

I could have given up a few times and walked away for the easier option (get the website up and hope for the best, while then beginning to learn), but I am glad (finally) that I stuck with it.

I am recommending it, and I do recommend it to everyone just starting out at building a business online.

More professional people will have to weigh it up for themselves.

I hope that helps. It's an honest post from a real SBI-er.
Good fortune, whatever you decide. I wish you the very best.

    Sincerely,
    John Adams

I started SBI about 3 years ago and quit out of frustration. They had a website template I hated. To learn something like preselling you had to read a whole book. But their keyword research tools are great. Overall I think SBI is grossly overated.

Based on what I know now here's a short, but important list:

The Wordpress blog is superior to static websites.
You want to always be in control.
If you quit, can you take your domain name, website, autoresponder list with you?
Hosting: do they provide dedicated IP and SSL? Do they provide storage, and how large, for your digital downloads? Do they provide dedicated hosting (your own server) if you need one?

The area where most programs fail is they don't start at the beginning- and that is YOU (ourselves). Everything starts with you. They don't prepare you adequately with a winning Success Mindset. The failure rate in IM is over 95%. You can make it with the right Success Mindset Tools.

Lastly, good free information is available here at the WF and on Google. Become an expert on doing searches on Google. Most times you'll find what you're looking for and for free.

I have an SBI site and I do like it.

The $300.00 up front cost was a lot for me too, But since I was paying the money one time and did not have to worry for a year about payments, etc.

I understand how you can certainly get hosting and what not cheaper, but I think the people who choose SBI choose it because they are looking to concentrate on building one authority site in an area that they have real interest in, versus several mini sites to make a quick dollar.

Don't get me wrong, money is important but I look at SBI as a long term investment.

The reason many people build sites there or stay is not just the hosting but because they have a lot of free information - like a widely used forum (even though I also spend a lot of time here at the Warrior forum), ebooks on different subjects, page analyzers, keyword tools, niche choosing tools and more.

They also do other small things like if one your links is broken on any given page they email that info to you so you can fix it immediatly, before google or your customer alerts you to the problem.

I hoped that helped a little bit!

              Thanks for sharing.

It looks great. Plenty of information to get you high rankings in Google and to keep visitors happy and coming back.

              Great job.

              Can I offer a suggestion?

Is there anyway you could make the text on the buttons bold, so that they stand out.

Or maybe make the button color a brighter pink, just to provide a contrast and make it more visible to the customers eyes.

Thanks again for sharing and welcome to the forum.

If there is anything you need, I will be more than happy to help.

And there are tons of super-terrific people here who are helpful as well.

It's an excellent tool, especially for beginners. What I like the most is, Ken let's

Good Luck with your decision making!
