Anybody Using "Affiliate Theme" ?

Hi,

I'm in the process of getting more into affiliate marketing and everybody and his brother is promoting Affiliate Theme | The Affiliate Site Creation Tool for WordPress .

Unfortunately it's kinda impossible to find an unbiased review as all the reviews that I could find are from marketers trying to pick up the commission, so they're all positive.

Nothing wrong with that, just not very helpful as I'm looking for an honest review.

So if you have some experience with it or if you're using it currently, please let me know what you think and if it was worth the investment for you.

Cheers,
Mario

    • hi ebuyer123,

I agree, looks good. Are you using affiliate theme for your sites? If so, can you say how you like it?

  • Hi Mario,

I have the unlimited license version and currently use it on my personal website.

    www.RoyChan.name
(Click and see if for yourself - not tricking for clicks. Well it's not a IM niche anyways.)

The template is clean and professional, and is editable to your liking. The only catch is - if you intend to run a membership site like wpwishlist, it might not look desirable, because your members will see AT's header, which brands their company and you just don't want to have that.

I have also seen pro-IMers using "wp-remix.com" - you may want to check that out as well. WP-Remix offers great value as integration with Forum and other platform. It looks very promising, and appears to offer great flexibility when you expand your blogging platform. I haven't used Wp-Remix personally and can't vouch 100% for it.

You asked whether the investment on AT was worth it. I can't say it for sure, because I've used it only on my personal blog and no ROI was recovered, hence I can't say the investment was worth it, but I believe I got what I wanted from AT and the support was quite useful. AT keeps improving their interface, since v1.13, (it's 1.17) If one-day they evolve to wp-remix's capability, then I think it's stellar and exceeded my expectation as an wp affiliate theme.

However, at the end of the day, it all depends what you want to achieve.

    Cheers,
    Roy
  • As others have said it`s kinda hard to learn how to use, but it is soo good once you finally have.

It`s simply 10 times better than any other theme i`ve seen out there, with call to action buttons built in to your posts etc

If you become a preium member, like me, for 197 dollars you get access to 40 headers and 15 new ones a month or something.

They`re really well done, but my problem was their wasn`t one for my niche.

So I asked him if for next month he`d include one for my niche, to my suprise a few days later I got one. Totally free, its a real 35-50 dollar value. I thought that was pretty cool.

They also run a great forum and stuff so no question goes un-answered.

There`s also a new update coming up soon, its gonna make the theme as customizable as possible really.

For SEO and PPC(landing page) purposes it really does everything you need and want.

    Zach

P.S- I am in no way affiliated with them, i`m just a happy customer.

P.P.S- Before buying I just looked over the test sites they did, that`s what sold me.

    • I forgot to answer the part of your post about the investment.

It all depends what your gonna do, if it`s for a personal blog and that`s all than I`d wonder if you really need it.

But if your into building tons of niche sites, like me. Or building quick PPC landing pages than this is for you.

It takes me no more than 10 minutes, seriously, to set it up on a domain now and get it to the way I like it. (I have around 15 of AT blogs around.)

For PPC I design mine much like they do in the free CPA Ninja videos, except I think mine look better.

      (They use WP direct)

For one niche I`m in I have a 200-300% return on adwords, and I use this AT of course.

I guess i`m not tech-savvy enough to throw up a quick website, so this is perfect for me.

    • I've been looking for a way to do this myself. How to make call-to-action buttons part of the post. I want this to be the default. Tried Googling this but I couldn't find anything. Any ideas other than doing it manually for each post?

      Thanks.

  • Hi again,

guys thanks for the reviews and the links, I had a look at the other theme providers and I'll investigate it a little further. It was very helpful to get some feedback from people that are actually using it.

I just started to attack 5 niches and each one with a niche blog, I would obviously like to have them good looking and customizable. Not really for PPC, just promoting clickbank and CPA offers the old way, article marketing and building backlinks.

Thanks again for the info! Very much appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Mario

  • Thanks Zach....

I was hoping for a more automated way of doing it. :-)

    Cheers.
  • I do own Affiliate Theme and overall it is pretty good, but you might want to look at Thesis as well. It actually goes much further in your abilities to customize your website - including custom content in the side bars per posting.

    • Thesis theme is ULTRA hot right now for good reasons I believe.
    • Thanks for the tip, I'm going to have a look at this right now.

      Cheers,
