aWeber v.s. GetResponse

So I've been an aweber for a few years now and my subscription expires in July. I've noticed that GetResponse is also relaunching their new version next month.

I was wondering if I should stick with aWeber or is GetResponse going to out preform the current version of aweber?

I know if I give up my account with aweber I'll lose my contacts - but I don't mind.

It also looks like aweber changed their pricing so if it is better then getresponse I better stick with them (when I subscribed they had only a static rate I think no matter how many subscribers you had, now when I look they charge differently monthly depending on your subscriber list). Does getresponse charge different monthly rates based on your subscriber list?

Just trying to gain some opinions before I move (or stick) w/ aweber

I also heard that with GetResponse you can't check who opened your emails and what they clicked unlike Aweber.

I recently bought Getresponse and it's pretty userfriendly and I am happy with their customer service too. However, I have read positive reviews on aweber too! YOu can email your queries to these 2 companies and whichever suits you the best, go with that one.

If you have the money to spend for aweber, then I'd choose aweber. They have more advanced tools and tracking than getresponse, but getresponse is also great to use for an autoresponder service. It's very user friendly

I've been with GetResponse for a while and wondered about the differences. The flat fee gives you access to a variety of options. The new version is about to be released and is full of user recommended changes and other perks.

I am going to review it once it changes.

Personally, I moved many of my subscribers over when I changed from a previous list. Over 500 did not move so I still main the original subscribers (some have been with me for five years) and I think that if you are happy with aweber that keeping subscribers is worth sitting tight.

Most of the internet marketers use aweber and I'd take that as an endorsement and stick with what works for most.

Go with getresponse. Offers almost exactly the same service as aweber (when the new version is launched). I have used both and actually prefer getresponse.

Also, since aweber already increased their prices and getresonse will most likely do so too in the coming weeks - have a look at icontact.

Allows you to have a Single Optin list and has all the feature of aweber. Overall, if you have a bigger list, 1ShoppingCart is the cheapest solution.

I've used a few in the past. Made a big mistake early in my career and used a no name brand. They ended up closing shop before I made a final backup of my list. Lost it all. Lesson learned. Will always use a professional service from here on out.

      Aweber is that professional service.
