autoresponder Aweber vs icontact

Yo creeper,

I have been choosing an email marketing program and now the choice narrow to Aweber and Icontact.

I really want to know about the Auto responder features of these program.

Which one is better?

  • I use Aweber and their auto responder allows you to choose time of the day and which day of the week to send. Also you can use all sorts of smart links like first name, last name, date signed up.

    You also get analytics to open rates and how many clicks you are getting with emails.

    There are a lot of features with Aweber, not sure with Icontact though.

    • They are both powerful applications but the one thing I didn't like about iContact is they only allow 6 auto responder sequences (unique sequences). Aweber I think I have 10 or more small autoreponder sequences so having that limitation is bad for me...

  • I choose Aweber.

    Why? Because it is more user friendly, fast loading and they have a great support team.
  • All I can tell you is that I use Aweber and have done so for about 5+ years.

    Have never had any big issues with them.

    It's the one I always recommend to those just getting started.
  • If you have wordpress use Mailpoet. Its free and doesnt get blocked by Gmail. I use it for site with over 3k subscribers get average click through rate of 14%. I wont have to pay until 5K subscribers reached.
  • I personally like constant contact and get response. I have used many many services but they all have pros and cons. None do absolutely everything.

  • Aweber is best in terms of all features and functionality required for email marketing.

    • there are good services offering today some of them they give trial version or free but limited in their features. two good examples are aweber and mailchimp.
