Instagram is officially testing DMs for desktop users

Social Media Today reports that Instagram has started limited testing direct messages access on Instagram's web-browser version.



Instagram said that a small number of users will initially have access to the feature. Once rolled out to all users however, this is particularly good news to business users, who spend more time on laptops and PCs than mobile devices (tablets and smartphones).

    I would personally create my business IG profile if I could send DMs from my PC. I don't know if it's possible to post a story from Desktop.

    For people that don't know, there are emulators that you can install on PC, but I wouldn't recommend using any of those.
