LinkedIn rolls out Conversation Ads

LinkedIn announced that they're rolling out Conversation Ads beta today to all advertisers over the coming weeks. The new ad format builds on LinkedIn's current Messaged Ads, formerly called Sponsored InMail.



Conversation Ads feature full-funnel campaigns with options for multiple customized CTAs such as product education or eBook downloads. LinkedIn also shares how to get started with Conversation Ads:

Choose campaign objective
Conversation Ads allow marketers to hit multiple objectives by setting up an interactive experience, giving audiences a more personal experience. This allows different levels of brand customization, which then fuels traffic to landing pages, and therefore generate high-quality leads.

Conversations that speak to your audience
The new feature also lets you start conversations to your targeted professional audience. This is LinkedIn's nature as a professional social network - your connections are mostly likely professionals, and it's even likely these professionals are company decision-makers who might have an influence on their company's purchasing behaviour.

More valuable insights about customers
You can pretty much leverage this data to view campaign performance - what worked and what didn't. Use these insights to improve future campaigns, driving demand to the right audience.

    Well, if they have taken that to Ads will they let those spammy messages slip through? I have read people talking about how they message 25-odd people from target market about their service daily. I mean, how is Linkedin going to go about it?
