Facebook testing new adaptive colour backgrounds for user profiles
Reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong discovered that Facebook is testing out a new option which changes the background colour of a user profile when using the mobile app, depending on the display photos' dominant colour.
As shown in the screenshots, this works by identifying the main colour within a display photo, and then using this colour to change the background. As with any other Facebook tests, there has been no official word from them.
