Fret not. You can get started with our quick guide.

Schedule virtual events ahead of time
Bit of a no-brainer, but if you want to ensure your audience are informed way ahead of what's going on, you need to set out a plan to promote your events ahead of time.

That would perhaps mean sending a calendar invite at least a month before so you and your audience have time to prepare.

Test with familiar live event formats
Such live event formats are the usual product launches, live product demonstrations, live presentations, webinars, and Q&As.

Focus on attendee experience
Surely you've joined an in-person or virtual event, right? And I'm sure the attendee experience was phenomenal, so why not replicate something like that when you host a LinkedIn event? It doesn't have to be very detailed or what. Even something as simple as attendee reminder and notifications, and video highlights and event replays should already suffice.

The key is to ensuring you're considering what attendees will experience in relation to your event.

Target a focus objective
But of course, what's the point of hosting a live event without a goal? Discuss with your team what your goals are; lead generation, Q&A, etc.

And don't try to do everything. Refining your focus can help ensuring you meet your goals and get the most value out of your event.

Great! Hosting LinkedIn Live events can be a game-changer when done right. I especially liked the point about focusing on the attendee experience -- so many brands overlook that, yet it's what keeps people coming back. Planning ahead and setting clear objectives definitely helps keep everything on track and purposeful. Thanks for breaking it down so clearly!
