    • Ok Everyone. I have made a group over at Meetup.com for us to organize a meeting. L.A. Internet Marketing Mastermind (Los Angeles, CA) - Meetup.com Membership is free.

      From reading past messages, it seems Hollywood is a good location to meet. Would people prefer 6:30 or 7?

      Does anyone have a suggestion for the topics of our first meetup? We should spend at least some time getting some rules in place and a schedule down, but there's no need to use the whole time to do that.

      I'm thinking about an hour is sufficient for the meeting.

      Anyone know of a good place in Hollywood to meet? I would plan on about 10 people.

      I've had success forming another mastermind group in the past for a different subject area. When set up correctly, these groups can provide amazing value to everyone involved.

    I went ahead and posted the time on the Mastermind group as 7. First half-hour social getting to know you, then about an hour discussing the meat and potatoes.       As a heads up a good place for a good mastermind is Meetup202 in LA. It is run by one of the meetup organizers Jasper. This is where a lot of affiliates come together to hit off ideas and connect. People usually talk about what networks they are working with, what offers are hot, advice on traffic sources and advice in general.

      They recently had a meetup a couple of weeks ago, so it won't have another one for a while. However look up at Meetup202 and you will be able to register for the next one.

      PS there are meetup202 in various cities in the US.

  • I'd love to get together with other like minded individuals. Unfortunately, the only real time I've available is on the afternoon of the 4th Saturday of the month as that is when I'm down in the LA area.

    Several of us get together for lunch at Leo's Mexican Restaurant in Lawndale (16006 Inglewood Ave) about noon after the TRW swapmeet. If that is acceptable, just show up and we can take it from there. Lunch runs about $15.00 including tax and tip.

    I'm in L.A. right now (born and bred) I'm sort of bi-coastal because
    I despise Northeastern winters.

    Shoot me an email if anybody wants to go hiking or something.

    I've kind of been-there, done-that with many aspects of IM -
    got kind of burned-out in some ways. Much more interested in
    working with businesses selling tangible products than the
    whole info-marketing game right now. Either way, I like to
    help people out so if you're looking for direction or discernment
    in how you allocate your resources (a lot of IM "business models"
    are very low paid per hour you'll invest), hit me up.

    Really interested in alternative health marketing right now - especially
    things like "superfoods".

    Ok everybody, in the spirit of taking action, we have set the date for the next OC / LA WF Mastermind Meet to be on Wednesday, March 16th.
    • Meet and Greet will be from 8:30pm to 9:00pm
      (this will give everybody enough time to show up...)
    • 9:00pm Get Down to Business!!

    Location: Starbucks * 7711 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620
    (This is the big starbucks near Knott's Berry Farm, centrally located between LA and OC, right in the middle of the map)

    I have set up a Google Calendar on one of my domains, in order for everybody to get a visual, and you can bookmark the page which has the calendar on it, for your pleasure. Just humor me by entering your name and email, so that I can update you if there are any last minute changes. No I will not spam you or sign you up to my aweber.
