I have no experience starting a meetup but it looks like there's enough interest for an SF Bay Area meet.

I am open to meeting up really soon with anyone interested to brainstorm or mindmap or collaborate.

I am comfortable meeting up at:
- Mall food courts (Stonestown, Tanforan, etc)
- Coffee shops
- Library conference rooms
- Hotel lobbies
- Parks/beaches

  Looks like no meeting has occurred. I'm in South Bay, wayyy south bay. I'd be willing to host in my Monterey office - can easily hold about 20 people+ or my home in Pebble Beach if more than 20 people.
  
  I suspect this is too far south, but if no one else is able to make it work and enough people are interested, I will host. I have the ability to set up screen and projector for any presentations.

Is there an offline meeting yet? I can't tell from this thread. I'd be happy to put something together.

I recommend doing it in Moutain View. This is centrally located so people from SF, south bay, east bay, etc. can all make it without too much difficulty. Besides why not meet near the capital of Google :-). If the group grows out of control we can always break up into smaller groups based on geography.

Let me know if there is a meeting so I can move forward accordingly. I'm looking forward to meeting with you all!

I'm in Tracy, but migrate out to San Ramon a few days a week for the dreaded J-O-B. I would love to meet up with locals either from the Central Valley or East Bay Area.

Has anyone ever thought of using Meetup to start a MM group? I think there's enough interest in this thread to start one - if you might be interested, PM me. We might even have enough interest in here to have a couple groups - one for the Valley, a few for the Bay Area (like Peninsula, East Bay, San Jose) and possibly even one for Sacramento.

Wow, quite a few fellow warriors interested in Master Minding.

So I would welcome anyone who is really interested and maybe in the San Francisco.

Please let me know if you are interested in getting together to discuss first a possibility of what you would like to discuss and then we can put together a great Master Mind Group.

I do have a little experience in setting up such a thing but it will definitely require setting time aside to achieve common goals, so it would be important to write down questions before hand and then once the group is set in motion we could have a section simply for both online and offline communication.

I would like to start up a Skype chat room for everyone in the SF Bay Area, as well as those who might be in the Central Valley, like myself.

Much as I would like to get into the meetups, it is difficult to get to events in the Bay Area, and we all know the Bay is a big place, small as it is.
