I have just stumbled across this thread and wish you all good luck with it.

I spend half my year in the Philippines, Urdineta, Pangasinan, and often advise my friends to try Internet Marketing, but they seem more interested in Facebook than earning money. Even so, I also explain to them that their time spent on Facebook could also earn a few peso to help pay for their Internet connection.

I am British, speak very little Tagalog and would be happy to help my Filipino friends.

What I've learned in school is that:

Filipino is the people in the Philippines.

Tagalog is the National Language.

Filipino Language are list of philippine languages/dialects or Language of Filipinos.

Pilipino is the subject in school which also means the people in the Philippines because there is no letter F in the Tagalog language and it was derived from the Philippines Rhyme "Pilipinas" and Filipino as associated from Filipinas and also it is in an effort to dissociate it from the Tagalog ethnic group which is the "Taga-Ilog".

Here's the list of Languages in the Philippines:

I could not see "Filipino" as part of the list.

If my teachers are wrong, I will change my mind but I don't know where to rely now.

However, I sometimes think about it because when I use Google Translate there is no Tagalog but Filipino. Another thought is that who is Google in that matter when after they translate the words will display "Tagalog" words.

Even though they changed it to Filipino, it seems there is still no difference to Tagalog that is why Google is also confused.

Look at this way:

Filipino Food means List of Food of Filipinos.

In tagalog, it is "pagkain ng pilipino" or "listahan ng pagkain ng mga pilipino".

What is the translation for that in Filipino Language if Filipino is a language? How can it be a national language when it is not actually a language.


Oooops, I'm not a linguistic so I might not actually correct but I think there is common sense and logic in what I am talking about.

With 1987 CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, I agree that Filipino is the National Language and I could not believe the fact that they do it as a national language were in it is not a language but nationality. Maybe we are just copying England where they were called English. They were called English and their language is also English. So we are Filipino and our language is Filipino? But there is American English so England English is English English. Are we gonna do Filipino Filipino? there are so many English language countries and we only have one "The Filipino Language", I think it is still incorrect and the 1987 constitution aren't reviewed further.

I have here the Tagalog and English Dictionary, can anyone give me the Filipino Dictionary so that I can check what is the difference?

* gaano na katagal kumikita ang website mo? ( proofs)
* Google analytics as proof of traffic

Madali naman kumuha ng hosting sa US, UK, Australia and Canada. Gumawa sila ng mga websites too na .us .uk .au and .ca and domains. Piliin nila na yung keyword na gusto nila mag rank ay pareho sa domain nila. Gamit wordpress, add seo plugin, submit sa google webmaster, optimize with rich text snippets... etc.

* Bodybuilding Diet and Food Supplements - ( sell -as an affiliiate- protein supplements, ebooks, )
* Training programs For Effective Body Building ( sell DVD's, eBooks, adsense)
* 6 Pack Abs ( ebook, protein supplements, adsense)
* Home Bodybuilding - (sell gym equipments, adsense)


'Research ka ng at least 10 keyword phrases ( sa bawat category) na di masyadong matindi ang competition.......na at the same time , is getting
about 1K EXACT MATCH monthly searches na may CPC ( cost per click) of at least $1

NOTE: marami sa atin ( isa na ako dun) ang nag-akalang sapat na ang makasampa sa Google page#1 para sa i-isang Keyword phrase lang ( 'took me 4 years to find out and 600+ websites and blogs, na this is not so). Save your resources and learn from my mistakes.

Next step: Decide --- How are you going to monetize your website? Via adsense ba?
O combination of 3-4 sources? I don't rely on adsense alone. Usually kasama Amazon at Clickbank, O CPA ( Max Bounty).

Kung kasama Amazon sa arsenal mo, the sequence of your keyword research should be the other way around. Mauna ka munang mag-re-search kung anu-ano ba ang mga mabentang 'body-building' products ( vitamins, ebooks, protein supplement etc) sa Amazon. " How To Tell What's Selling Well In Amazon'
Tapos i-compare mo sa keyword list mo na resulta ng "usual research"

Usual = Google Keyword Tool ( not always accurate) + Google Insights/Trends + SocialMedia ( I use keywordblaze + Google Insights/Trends)

some tips sa articles:

to "train" the search engine bots to crawl your site frequently

* 2-3 times a week ang posting ( for 6 weeks at least, then you can taper down to 1 article/week)
* mix those weekly articles with curated one, guest blogging ( para di lang iisa ang author)
* upload/install ka ng socialmedia plugin for your visitors to vote/like your article
* MORE IMPORTANT: create a Google+ profile,optimise and connect your website URL with your profile , for Google authorship, may free plugin kang pwedeng i-download para dito
* try to target not just one keyword per article ( 3 keywords/keyword phrases ideally) , Google will tell you "related searches" sa keyword mo - you can use these for relevancy. mas ok para ke Google
* On-page optimise each article
