The price war is very stiff. Finding really good paying gigs is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Generally, though, the business is doing fine.

I haven't decided yet on the keyword tool to purchase, right now I'm doing extensive research on about four keyword tools to determine which one will be the best. Kaso there's no evaluation copy for MNF so I won't be able to evaluate that one..

So far here's the software I'm looking into:

1. WebCEO
2. WebPosition 4
3. Traffic Travis
4. Keyword Elite

So far I can say that the features of the four keyword tools are almost similar..But I haven't found the one yet that will give me an extensive list of keywords with long tails where I don't have to enter the seed keyword. That will be good for those who don't have a fixed niche in mind yet (like me)

I'm also looking for a keyword tool that will list the 10 top sites and tell me the inbound links of all those ten sites..Though keyword elite gives the list of the top 10, will have to continue digging into its features..

So far yun pa lang ang update. If anybody here has recommendations for a decent keyword tool please do. I haven't tried Jonathan ledgers Niche Horde yet but based on what I saw in the promotional video it's impressive.

It's just a waste that I wasn't able to make it as a beta tester when it was just starting..now its $97 per year..though I think it will still be a good investment. Cguro I'll decide after I finish testing the locally installed keyword tools in my PC muna..if nothing meets my needs i'll try it..

Kayo ano kwentho? C carlos kamusta?

Pokwang!!! hehehe chicks ka ba? kasi pokwang

All the best,

Omar

Yup, sana nga. I believe there is so much one can do to be able to earn decent income from the internet. Kaso nga lang kailangang magbanat ng buto and one must face some very challenging learning curves. Pero para sa akin this is all worthwhile considering that we all do it without leaving the comfort of our homes and the company of our families.

Marami nagsasabi maganda raw Market Samurai.

Yung market samurai wala atang evaluation.

-----------------------

What I'm looking for is something that you won't have to specify a seed keyword. It will list all top terms then ability to drill down to look for long tails. Tapos it will show na rin sana yung top 10 sites with backlinks information and page rank.

Tipong niche horde sana na one time payment, yearly kasi yung niche horde.

All the best guys!

Omar

And the best part?

Hi KinZenMaster,

Welcome and it's nice of you to drop by the local Filipino thread here in the World's Most Prominent Internet Marketing Forum - Warrior Forum

It seems that this is your first post and you sound bitter...I feel sorry for you I know it's hard here in the Philippines right now..Lalo na yung mga walang trabaho..

Like you when I first joined warrior forum medyo bitter din ako coz I was researching for a month online but made not even a single cent.

Here's one reality for all newbies here..In the beginning you'll have a very hard time making even a dollar online..Mahirap..napakahirap sa simula..duduguin ka sa hirap..

When I started way back august last year halos hindi na ko natutulog sa kakaresearch and ni singkong duling wala akong kinita for ONE YEAR! I almost gave up..

Pero something happened September this year..Kahit na mahirap I accepted na meron talagang pera sa Internet at makukuha mo yon when YOU PROVIDE SOMETHING OF VALUE...LALO NA DITO SA WARRIOR FORUM..

I was given an opportunity by long time warriors here..one took care of my war room membership and the other gave me a writing gig..

Hindi ko sinasabi tong story ko dito sa forum, maliban sa ilang warriors that I was able to meet offline. Pero cguro sometime we have to share the story of our struggles and how we were able to change our lives because of hardwork, diligence, providing value, and help from other people. I'm writing this now to help other people who are struggling. So they will know that there is indeed a "breathing space" when we do our best, don't expect anything and just provide sincere and honest value to others..

Right now I can't say na maluwag na na ko, napakalayo pa. In fact I still struggle, everyday. I do hard work. Research stories, think from which angle I would present it, write it, upload it..wala akong weekend break. Everyday I work minimum 8 hours. Puyat ako araw araw..

Pero this hard work is bringing me several hundreds of dollars per month.

Etong warrior forum..Don't think na tsismis lang ang nandito..THE BRIGHTEST INTERNET MARKETING MINDS IN THE PLANET ARE HERE..Learn as much as you can from this forum..
Kung naiisip mo na tsismis lang ang ginagawa mo dito..then create a report of the things you learned here..tapos mag WSO ka ng $7 PLR samahan mo ng video para yung "Tsismis" na ginagawa mo rito nakakatulong sa iba and you're making money for yourself..

Eto yung total withdrawal ko from Sept. To Oct. sa paypal..wala pa dyan yung november and my other gigs.. I hope that newbies lalo na yung mga kabayan natin na medyo nawawalan ng pag asa eh ma inspire..

here's the link : paypal_withdrawal on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Don't give up..it's not easy..but it works..

All the best,

Omar

This is exactly the kind of mindset that's keeping many Filipinos - online or offline - from succeeding in their undertakings. It's the proverbial crab mentality in action.

For every good thing that someone comes up with, we always come up with a hundred reasons why it wouldn't work. It's pathetic, because it kills motivation and creativity, and leads to stunted growth.

If others are freely sharing their positive experiences regarding their online ventures here or elsewhere, why should we consider it that they're just showing off? Why can't we just accept that they're being successful and that we can learn a lot from what they share?

If a person has this kind of attitude and mentality, and then fails online - I wouldn't be surprised.

Tsk, tsk, tsk...

I disagree with this post.

I've been out of work since 2005. Na retrench and napag-initian. Since then I looked for ways to earn online. I became a full time online marketer: adsense, amazon, clickbank, offline consultancy (great way to earn) etc. I started earning full-time income in 2007. From 2005 to 2007 talagang mahirap dahil I have 3 kids to support and pay their school fees, baon, food, aside from paying the house bills, hulog sa Pag-Ibig, electricity, car maintenance and other expenses.

Since 2008, I've been earning mid 4-digit figures monthly tax-free. If I were working in corporate Makati, my monthly income would have reached Php300-350k gross monthly (less 32% tax and that is my monthly IM earnings). I am not telling you this to boast of what I achieved online. But I am just telling you that there is real money online, whether you are an American or a Filipino, the internet is a great equalizer.

My online earnings have allowed me to send my eldest son to college (2nd year multimedia course sa APC), one daughter in high school (catholic school in paranaque), another daughter in grade 6 (another catholic school in paranaque). With my earnings, I am planning to buy a new SUV (Mitsubishi Montero Sports) within the next 6 months. I want to pay cash. Dun kasi ako nagkabaon-baon sa utang before when I was working in Makati, puro credit cards.

In the next month or so, I will have a new office in Kalookan City with 5 workstations and to start with 5 people doing work for me. With the way things are going, I expect to earn 5-digit earnings monthly by next year.

I have started a thread way back in 2008 yata in pinoymoneytalk.com and I shared my experience there. I have used the same username in pinoymoneytalk.com. I started slow but gained momentum later. I am not active there anymore.

This was my earnings in July/Aug 2008 which I shared in pinoymoneytalk:
20080723+to+20080820.jpg (image)

My earnings now have since grown by more than 50%. I plan to double this up by 2010 with the new team I am forming.

If you still think this is imbento, I guess you have to evaluate your mental state. Why would someone waste his time to make up all these stories just to brag about his earnings and success. I've been quiet here in WF. I buy wsos left and right to expand further my online business. Because as I said, there is real money online. If you don't believe me, that is great to hear because I have one less competition to deal with.

Ngayon ang biggest earner ko writing gigs..

If you're looking for a stable source try elance.

I haven't tried elance yet pero me mga co-warriors tayo that recommends it..In fact I visited it once and saw long time outsourcers there earning more than 100k USD total just for the last six months.. Medyo nagulat ako.

Dito sa forum merong thread na warriors for hire, if you have $20 you could advertise your services there..

All the best,

Omar

hi giansim,

forgot to mention before i reached this earning, my first month online grossed me around $20 working more than 12 hours daily including weekends. i was really discouraged back then but persistence really pays and if you keep your eyes open, you will see golden opportunities.

mahirap talaga sa umpisa especially sa noobs. you will make mistakes along the way. it is not a straight path. maraming traps and pitfalls. but if online marketing is that easy, e di sana lahat na naging marketers. mahirap pero very satisfying once nag start ka na mag earn.

keep on learning. innovate. automate. more often i buy scripts/programs or create my own imacros to automate tasks para maging efficient processes ko.

At present it's $10 per article. I see that you are also into article writing. Bro, I recommend that you create a blog here to serve as a showcase for your writing skills. Write about the best Internet marketing tips that you know. I think that will increase your "market value".

Hope you get more premium clients soon bro

I agree with you 101%, sa tingin ko pa nga mas mahirap mag umpisa sa IM kesa ung magpatayo ka ng sarili mong biz offline.

Tsaka when it comes to monetizing sites, wag mag-expect to have ROI over night. Daming factor to consider like: niche, at most importantly TRAFFIC - hindi basta traffic, dapat TARGETED TRAFFIC. And have 80-20 rule, 80% promoting the site, 20% creating it.

Pag quick cash nmn, pwede rin ung site flipping, gawa ng site tas benta. Pero marami rin pros and cons sa gantong strategy of monetizing like scammers, etc.

Like you my_addict_mind, I'm also investing on reliable automated tools para mas mapadali ung ibang stages ng work.

At present it's $10 per article. I see that you are also into article writing. Bro, I recommend that you create a blog here to serve as a showcase for your writing skills. Write about the best Internet marketing tips that you know. I think that will increase your "market value".

Well mahirap talaga sa umpisa, kahit matagal ka na mejo mhirap pa din kasi ang learning curve is really high especially if you are going the affiliate way.

Most of our pinoy warriors here earn money online by working for others, but if you stick with just affiliate marketing or any other type of online marketing you must really work hard for it. But the rewards are worth it, no boss, no time cards.

Very True. But in order to succeed in affiliate , you must work fast, learn how to outsource and never get emotionally attached to your projects. Always remember that some will fail and some will not. For me it is better to make 5 sites all at once, outsource the backlinking, social bookmarking, rss feed submission then do the on page seo. Then move on research for new niches, make more sites, and repeat the cycle. Let us say, 3 of your sites make sales and earns $100/monthly x 3 = $300 monthly. All the outsourcing fees will surely be covered by this then just scale it up. What if 10 sites earn $100 each? 20 sites? 50 sites?

i have almost all incansoft software: articlebot, socialbot, prbot, rssbot, directorybot. sa keyword tools naman, eto favorites ko: keyword research pro, mnf, & market samurai. dati lagi ko gamit ang keyword elite pero na surpass na ng 3 keyword tools above yung old keyword elite so seldom ko na siya gamit. never upgraded to keyword elite 2.0 dahil am so satisfied with the 3 keyword tools above.

i also use various other tools like power article rewriter, roboform (very useful), seo elite, ad grenade, ppc keyword toolz, ibp, spyglass to spy on my competitors' backlinks. marami rin akong wordpress plugins na ginagamit depende sa requirements.

kung hindi naman i use imacro to automate special automation needs. i am quite proficient naman having done some excel macros and programming sa office nung araw kaya ang transition to imacros madali na lang.

i tested linkwheel software ni ankur sharma pero marami pang bugs pa kaya i refunded.

Grabe yan ah! dameng tools haha! anyway, i also have social bot, rss bot. With regards to keyword tools, anu ba pinagkaiba nila sa google keyword tool and manually checking for comp? Hindi ba mas accurate if you check the allintitle, allinanchor, allinurl and exact comp yourself? Havent used any so just want to ask the advantages of keyword tools? Had much success checking it manually so am not sure kung mas madali ba sya?

@geoffcruz: Well, mas mabilis and may team ka na kase so bebrief mo nalang sila about your backlinking. Tapos hanap ka na ng ibang niche.

yes you can do keyword research manually pero it will take you ages to do it. for example, with market samurai checking the competition for the top 10 will only take seconds and you will have: backlinks, PR, on-page optimization factors, dmz or yahoo entries, etc.

Sa MNF you will have the allintitle, allinanchor, allinurl factors din at nakacalculate na rito yung SOC (strength of competition).

What I do is I use the 3 tools in combination. I use KRP to extract a long list of keywords, exact searches and competition. Input this in MNF. Check their SOC. For keywords with SOC 50 or less, I feed these keywords into Market Samurai and analyze their top 10 competition. Malalaman ko na kung easy picking talaga yung keyword or not.

Hmmm never used that yet.. but might want to try it next time. Here is what I do with my keyword research:
what i do is i do it manually. Here is how i do it.

1. lookup for high searched keywords.
2. Look at the number of backlinks of the sites on the first page of google with your keyword. The lower the better. Go to yahoo site explorer and enter the sites of your competition there or use seo firefox.
3. Look at the exact search phrase: "your keyword".
4. Look at the intitle:"your keyword"
5. Look at the inanchor:"your keyword"
6. Look at the inurl:"your keyword"
7. if you see that not many are optimised for your keyword then there is a good chance that you can rank with it

my_addict_mind: what products do you promote? clickbank or cpa? or physical products?

Yups mas madaling mag keyword research pag me tools ka.

Kasi pag wala mano mano, you'll check each keyword for total search returns, tapos competition check one by one re: backlinks (or via seoquake para isang search lang)

Pero me mga alternative..

Yung niche horde maganda..though hindi ko pa binibili..lahat ng sinabi ni my_addict regarding the three tools that he use nandun..I watched the demo.

me keyword library na..tapos total monthly search ata ( or daily, can't remember exactly), tapos epc, SOC (strength of competition), and there's an option to drill down per keyword to see the top 10 with their total backlinks..

So kahit na yung top spot dominated ng authority site, if the remaining spots are easy. You'll still be able to grab the remaining spots pag weak yung backlink nila.

Me mga cheap and free alternatives for keyword research aside from Google's keyword tool.

1. WebCEO
2. Traffic Travis
3. Market Sneaker - eto magaling to, also shows strength of competition plus it shows you what popular web 2.0 sites are there in the returns magagamit mo yun to determine if you can easily rank for the phrase using web 2.0 sites..Pag mas konting web 2.0 sites ang nakarank sa phrase mo mas maganda..kasi you'll be able to take several spots dun sa first page

Sa mga long tail keywords na low competition isang squidoo lang or ezine article tapos na ang kwento

All the best,

Omar

With regards to keyword research, i have learned a technique that will require adwords, but it is the most accurate. It will definitely tell you how many searches made in a day for a keyword. Its really accurate kasi galing mismo from googles adwords data base, based on actual searches. Kasi minsan sa google adword keyword tool mejo exaggerated yung results kasi they round it up.

Another good keyword tool is the keyword tool inside SEOnuke, ganda.
