Hi everyone.. I'm from Malaysia as well.

Started diving into Internet Marketers after meeting with a group of people having conversation in McDonald's near Bangi area around 11 AM.

One of them are driving Ferrari F430 (Singaporean plate) and another two driving Mazda RX-8 and 350Z respectively (Malaysian plate). Was taking their car's pictures when one of them came to the Ferrari to pick his laptop.

Both me and my brother purposely sat right beside their table after that and listen closely to what they were discussing. One of them noticed me and invited me to sit together and listen if I'd like to. We sat together until it was about 4 or 5 AM.

Wow!! Never in my life have I ever heard anything like that before.

They explained to me briefly that they are doing a form of business called affiliate marketing via SEO.

The Ferrari dude has over 150+ sites (if I remember correctly) selling all sort of Amazon and eBay stuff. They talk about various marketing system and planning.. some I understand and some I totally have no clue about.

I've been trying to make a living via AdSense since 2004.. and just barely made $3 dollars. I totally lost hope since then.

These guys however... are making well over $75,000 per month from the internet.

It's been two months (or is it three) since and I've made substantial progress following a couple of tips and a simple plan the dudes laid out on the spot for me.

And they referred me to some other marketers goes by the name James Schramko as well... he is very helpful.

I'm not earning much... am currently below $1500 per month.. but this is better than years of earning only $3 from Adsense.

Unfortunately I haven't seen the Ferrari dude and his friends anymore since then. Have been frequenting Bangi area a lot hoping to meet them but still with no luck.

P.S: Sorry for referring you as Ferrari dude (awesome car you have there).. but if you are reading this.. just know that you and your friend have made a great impact in my life. Interesting , they probably are a small mastermind group meeting in different locations and working on projects .

How often do we see a Ferrari park at a McDonalds?

Interesting and inspiring.

Any more info on this Ferrari dude? I'm interested to know what type of sites he do. There are many marketers with more than 150 sites, but not many drives a Ferrari.

Hmmm ... there is definitely money in conducting seminar, but it is not for everyone. Product development, video tutorials, and especially membership site can potentially earn you a decent monthly income.

The money is actually in your list, treat them well and you will be rewarded.

I am doing IM full time, or in other words, kinda not doing anything at all after everything is already set up. Passive income right lol. Been doing this for a few years already. At first i was busy but now i am alittle more relaxed.

Now that i've got the free time, i'm helping out with my parents business cause they asked for it. So i consider my parents business, part time, and i help whenever i can help them.

Sure. I started out back in 05 (i think) with adwords but i soon gave up because of the advertising costs and i didn't have much capital back then.

I restarted in 08 when i had more capital. But this time when i was doing research, i came across seo and niche blogging (and it was cheaper compared to adwords). So it began... again...

This time i didn't give up, learned a method and stuck to it till it was making me money. Took me about a few months to be in profit but after that it was uphill all the way.

What i can say from experience is that it's easy to give up because sometimes you can get information overload or results are not as you expected.

Best piece of advise is to never give up. Sounds simple right. But i'm sure one day you will have this feeling to give up. But don't! believe me don't

Haha ~ of course looks cool and sounds simple but the overall is the process too . Great info too. To be honest I love blogging, but , that's just only blogging for fun and I didn't realize that my Google Adsense at least have USD 27 build for 4 years . I didn't realize there is some kind of method can make this kind of way. LOL. I may be will be like you using blogging to market the product too using my favourite niche. But looking forward to learn from everyone too, my computer have too many ebook and reseller product that don't know how to monetize it and sell it..... wuwuwuwu =(

Hi Malaysians!

I can see that many of yall here had miss the gathering offered by Gobala himself, which was a year ago (how time flies...)

This includes me of coz

And it would be ashamed to see such potential in the numbers of Malaysians in this forum post itself to disappear just like that.

I do not know about most of you, but it always seem like i'm alone in Internet Marketing when it comes to hangin out with my friends.

And obviously, i realized that i'm hangin with the wrong group of people

So, here's the thing:

1.) I promised myself that i would never give up when i join the IM industry about a year ago... I've been through many **** holes throughout this journey, and i'm glad that i'm still here talkin to you

2.) Seeing all of you in here gave me hopes again in trying to find people with similar interest

3.) I wanna get together with some of you internet marketers out there, and just help each other out in places that we're all have problems in right now.

4.) I have some ideas i wish to share among u guys, and hope yall would have some input, as i will too upon ur ideas.

5.) I know many independent marketers out there that have succeeded in this industry BEING INDEPENDENT. But i think you'd agree with me when i say 2 minds are better than 1... Getting into a team and networking is always KEY.

Why I like this business?
1. because I do not sell my time for money
2. because I do not need high capital
3. because I can do it in the comfort of my home
4. because I have friends all over the world
5. because I can help others in turn make me successful

7. because I do not have inventories
8. because I do not have staffs
9. because I can make money in more than one way
10. because I can learn from others

Actually Singapore is a stone throw away from Johor, there are more marketers in Singapore than in Malaysia, give them a shout.

I'm glad to see that there are active Malaysian marketers in here.

Hiya, I'm from Sarawak actually, but currently in Sheffield, UK.

Three important tips in IM field, through my experience is that,
- Don't fancy 'get rich quick' scheme
- Never give up easily
- Don't get yourself overload with too many things at a time

These are the most common tips in IM field but not many really use it, especially newbies(Like me when I first started..)

As you guys might have heard me mentioning this before, in December 2011, I made quite a large investment in an IM course by one of the top marketers around. He gives a straight forward, no BS, plan of action for all of the students to follow through (including me!). So that's why, now... I have a plan!

And using my bare minimum common and sense and little knowledge i have about IM

, I'm pretty sure the plan works. Why? Because it's the simple truth. I'm also pretty sure you guys already know what works and what doesn't. Most plans do work. And I'm sure you would agree with me in saying that it boils down to consistency, tracking of progress, and the ability to refine and re-tune our course of action.

So with that being said, let me cut straight to the chase...

The business model is based on affiliate marketing, since this is the easiest to start off with and make a ton of profit. I don't want to reveal too much here as i did pay a fortune to get this course. I'm looking for 3 people first (possibly from KL / Selangor side). Including me, the team would be made up of 4 people. Depending on the first meet-up, we will then decide if more people are needed. I would say a little knowledge about article marketing and list building is required. Additional training will be provided. Splitting of the cost and profit would be discussed during meet-up. All budgeting has been laid out accordingly. Honestly guys, i think this is not too much to ask for in terms of capital and expertise. A little bit steep for a single guy to execute, but 4 people, should be a piece of cake! Besides profiting, i take this to be a chance for all of us to improve on our skills as we will be teaching and learning from each other as well.

Btw, i'm from Ampang, Selangor.

This project is a means to an end. Meaning that it can only go so far but definitely a 5 figure business non the less. However, i do have a future plan in place which is sort of a 2nd level to the same model, which i presume to be a 6 figure deal.
