Did anything ever come of this? I saw there was mention of a meetup group but nothing after that? Unfortunately I can't IM yet to ask the OP.

I'm new here but if the issue is getting an organizer I have the time right now. I think it would be an awesome idea.

I'm up in New Port Richey(about 45-60 min north of TIA).

I am new to affiliate marketing, not having a lot of success. Would like to get with a mastermind group that more specifically deals with Affiliate Marketing ad will be patient with some on who is new to it all (I learn quickly though when taught in person).

Currently I attend 2 Internet Marketing groups, one in clearwater, and one in tampa.

I have started a MeetUp on internet marketing. Wanting it to be more of a mastermind. You're all welcome to attend.

It's called Tampa online marketing for small business. We cover internet marketing and affiliate marketing.

The second Monday of the month at CDB's southside italian restaurant on westshore just 2 miles south of I-275 at 7:00pm.

We should all get together and organize a gmail review ring. Local reviews are hard to fake, but with a powerhouse group of marketers in Tampa we can easily work out a "Review my client and I'll review yours" type of a system don't you think?

I'm in the Tampa area and putting a mastermind group together with a few heavy hitters that already run 7 figure internet businesses, so it may or may not be for you. The main site is mastermindgroup dot us. I'll pm you a couple links to the meetup group.

The way we run it (subject to change) is everyone puts in $2000 a year which pays for renting some of the top fun venues in Tampa and at the end of the year whatever we haven't spent gets donated to charity. That removes the "you're only running this to make money" thing but also as you know, if you have some skin in the game you value it, and you actually show up and participate. We also invite people who are real experts in some area to give presentations to the group as well sometimes.

You are welcome to check us out and any other warriors in the Tampa area can do the same if they want to.

Hey Let's just pick a central location to Tampa/Pinellas, set a date (Sat or Sun) and time and hook up for beer/coffee and snack and do this. Conventions come later.

I'm in the Tampa Bay area, (Riverview, exactly). I'm excited to know that there are so many warriors this close.

I see that this thread was started a few years ago, but I think a great use for this thread would be for it to become a resource for us surrounding warriors. Then you can link up with the people that best fit the direction of your business and build relationships that way. I have tried to gather a family reunion and that was hard enough... and WE ARE RELATED. (smile)

But, each of us has needs in our business and it would much easier to partner with people local, so we could brainstorm ideas and have lunch while we plan world domination.

I think a good idea would be to post the skills or core competencies you have and what skills you are looking for to help grow your business to the 7 figure level if you are not already there. Not everyone here has a signature so I don't know who to PM if a skill is needed so just tell us!

1. Consulting small businesses on marketing strategy.

My intent is not sell my services to the local warriors; my intent (if any) is to connect with local graphic designers, Facebook pros, and SEO masters etc. Those that have skills I lack and would rather not spend more $$ or time to figure out alone. We could learn from each other or simply hire on another. I figure, rather than each of us having to buy all the same products... I can work with someone that has bought the developer license of a software and I just buy the service from them (don't we buy the products to sell our services anyway?) Then we are building this powerful team while at the same time meeting local warriors. The elusive win-win can be achieved.

Just my 2... well, I guess 3 cents worth since this was a longer post for me.

Seems like there's a lot of Tampa folks, and a lot of talk but not any meetups... so I'm going to try something a little different.

If there's someone looking to get into IM, has some basic skills, and free time I'm looking to hire/partner & mentor with the right person. I'll show you the ropes and get you started into IM with % interest on projects and a flat rate. I'm in Westchase, and you'd have to be okay with coming here and maybe the pub every once in a while to work. I do have a large office away from home too.

I am in the Tampa area (just moved to St. Pete.) since I graduated from USF a year or two ago. I am an SEO, Web Dev, Graphic Designer and Audio Engineer and fortunately my work encompasses all of them and I get to use them all. I have also been studying a lot of mobile app dev via LUA and Corona SDK since mobile is the future!
