LOCAL EVENTS

Hey all,

Chris Ramsey here, and I want to get a mastermind started up.

I'm a full time internet marketer, have been for years.

I specialize in product creation and promotion, but have a lot of love for email marketing as well.

The group I'm interested in starting would meet at least once a month, but preferably once a week.

It's my belief that we've got to be active with each other in order to really help each other out.

However, it'll be more of a buddy-buddy kind of thing. I'm not a big professional kinda guy, so I'd like to just have locals come, hang out, and talk shop.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, let me know and we'll set up a get together for everyone!

Well me and Jason met up at Helen's on Tues. and it was a productive lunch. I think we both brought a lot to the table. It's a damn shame no one else showed up. We'll prob do another in 2 weeks... Let's see if any tire kickers make it out.

  yes it was awesome meeting John and brainstorming with him. I got alot of ideas from him and was able to leverage his help and take advantage of it when i got back to work that day.
  
  THere's nothing better than talking with like minded people. For me, it rewards me like a shot in the arm, motivates me to getting more accomplished. Just like getting home from a weekend seminar where i get tons of new ideas and motivation to succeed.
  
  I hope we can get Chris and others interested in the area to join us soon and build a group of movers and shakers in STL to talk shop.

I travel for business and have been in town more often lately. How about we put one of these together for next week 10/24 - 10/28.

Alright everyone, we're going to schedule out next meeting for Wednesday, November 30th. That's 8 days from now so mark your calender. Probably do it at 12 pm (noon).

Can we change that to 1pm? I am working until 12.15pm and I would be able to make it 1pm. I work at UMSL so anywhere near that area would work best for me, thought I dont mind meeting in any other place. Let us know soon

We're going to get together at Fallon's restaurant and pub Wednesday at 12-noon.

It's about a block west of 170 at Olive.

Looks to be fairly close, agonce, so it'll be quicker for you to get there.

I live in Florissant (north county) and I would love to get together with other warriors and brain storm.

Hi guys,

Glad to see a St Louis thread. I've been affiliate marketing in the IM niche for almost a month, so somewhat new to IM still. I would definitely like to meet some fellow warriors in the area.

One of my sites is a non-functional SEO information/services website right now that receives approximately 200 uniques per day that I'm trying to monetize. My problem is I'm still new and terrible with website design and creation. The website has the words "Buy Backlinks" in the domain and gets great organic traffic but I'm not doing anything with it.

Let me know when you guys are meeting up. Also, if anyone wants to JV with me on this SEO service website send me a PM.

short notice as this is tomorrow but here is an event put on by the social media club of st. louis happening tomorrow down in the loop.

It's a Pre----South by Southwest Party. This is a huge group and they have built this group well. They usually have meetings with panelists every month or so and a couple hundred eager people show up. And they usually have it in cool locations as well.

St. Louis Pre-SXSW Extravaganza - Social - Media- Eventbrite

Look at all the people signed up for this FREE event and check out the panelists.

I goto these meetings every chance i'm available and I always meet new people, and we talk turkey. Several of these folks are people who i continue biz relations with, as well as friendships.

This group may not be marketing centered but they discuss topics relative to the IM industry and there are tons of people to network with.

If you can make it to this, drop me a line and we'll meetup at it, have a cocktail, and say hi.

If you can go, you'll definitely be glad you did.
