Selling a website on WarriorForum

I'm looking into difference venues to sell a website, not sure if I'm going to go the flippa route or not.

Prob. not going to BIN it at anything over 5k, but if it goes auction style I may expect more.

Do you all have experience selling websites on here?...more specifically selling domains that aren't junk and actually have over 100 hand written articles & social presence already established..?

Thanks for the input in advanced.

I'm really not a fan of Flippa. It's just so passive and - usually - ineffective.

    Put it this way...

I buy websites. Buy websites, buy domains. In fact, I'll buy anything online that I consider a worthwhile investment. But when I go to Flippa for a website, say, I'm looking for something GREAT. On Flippa, if you have a really super deal, your site WILL sell. People like me will find it. But, being totally frank, most of the sites on there are less than great and are merely sat gathering dust.

But hey - there's nothing wrong with selling a "less than great site." You just need to get proactive.

    Here's my suggestion...

    1. Add a sales page to your forum sig here (and everywhere else).
    2. Make a list of possible buys and direct email them.

Use those 2 suggestions, you'll sell it in a few days if it's halfway decent.

Until freemarket is a robust, well promoted (outside of the WF) platform, Flippa is still the biggest thing going.
