Business is like a baby, you must nurture and feed it milk first, then feed it meat to become stronger. Then when the baby turns into a monster, you can finally quit your day job and scale your business bigger as fulltime marketer.

Do you have sales skills?

If so, there are digital companies that have sales teams all on Skype to close leads.

Some of these guys do six figure closing leads online.

You do however have to be an owner in these digital companies.

So I would say start researching online Skype sale jobs.

With a managerial position you could use that experience to be a sales coach. I guess if you don't want to be an employee, venture into a personal business instead. Actually depending on how you've saved up in the moment you can create your online business.

Hey,

don't be confused, in fact it's quite simple. All you need is some honest advice that I'm happy to provide you with right now....

So by the sounds of it you are in exactly the position I was in 6 to 7 months ago. It's a horrible situation to be in because on one hand you have a steady job with a decent wage but waking up to go into work gets harder and harder as you become unhappy. Now on the other hand you see this new exciting world of online, where you see a few people living the lifestyle you desire. It excites you right?

My advice would be to try and see if you can work part time online for a few months and still keep your job. The reason I say this is because a lot of people fail and they fail because they don't fully understand how much effort, time and commitment it takes to create a successful and sustainable business. I'm not kidding it takes a lot to make it work, however as daunting as it can be.... with the right guidance and right attitude.....creating a successful online business can be pretty straightforward but I will get into that later....

Now to substitute your wage your currently earning in your job won't happen overnight, I'm sure you will agree with me on that but in my personal opinion you can earn $2000 per month within 4 - 6 months' time. I'm sure this is probably not what you want to hear but it's something I feel you need to hear. I'm a kind of person who will tell you how it is based on real facts, I certainly won't tell you that you're going to be making $10000 per month in just 90 days because IT WON'T HAPPEN unless you know something that most marketers don't.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to discourage you, in fact it's the opposite.... I want you to be making money online, I want you to be living the lifestyle you want.....I want you to live with FREEDOM!! But I won't do it by giving you false hopes and promises that can't be kept....

So what should you do? What's your next step? Personally you already made the first significant step by posting this question and gathering opinions from the most trust source on the internet. Trust me when I say, you need to listen when people like Alexa Smith and Steve B are giving advice because its GOLDEN!!

So your next step is really to look at all the methods available and seeing which ones interest you and which ones suits your current skills. Once you made a decision on what method you want to explore it's time for you to...

LEARN THE METHOD....
MASTER THE METHOD....
TAKE WHAT YOU LEARNT AND PUT IT INTO ACTION...

It's that simple but like I said before it will realistically take a week or two to get to that stage and even then you have to have a clear vision to how you want run your business. Luckily for me I put all my management skills to use and I created a 3,6 and 12 month development plan together and I made sure that I didn't deviate from it. The most important thing when putting an action plan together is not to get carried away with the dream. As hard as it may be, you have to stay realistic. I could go on and on about setting yourself up in the correct manner but at the end of the day I just want you to realise ONE THING....Plan to succeed and not fail to plan, setting yourself up NOW with clear ideas on how you want to brand yourself will set you in good stead for your IM future.

I think I have done enough talking so if you want to chat sometime, I will be more than happy to offering you more free advice, if not then that's fine. I just want to wish you all the best on your future endeavours. I got the feeling that this will be one of your most important decision of your life, so please don't go rushing into it. Give careful consideration of the pro's and cons.

Sure, you have experience with two methods. What you do is find people that are successful is that area and copy what they are doing. Don't be afraid to send an email and ask.

Biggest thing to be successful online is learning how to get visitors to your landing pages. Learn how to get traffic. After you know how to get website traffic you can monetize that traffic.

Free and paid. Your best off setting a small budget for yourself and invest in maybe some ppc or ppv traffic. PPC is a little more expensive but converts much higher that ppv. Of course you have banner advertising where you simply create an image a certain size and redirect people to your website when they click on it. Again, you can place your banner on related sites for targeted traffic.

Biggest thing to understand is that it not like flipping a switch or depositing some money and seeing a return right away. Might take a little bit at first but the whole idea is to learn. It can be tough thats for sure but that is where finding someobody and mentoring off of them is good. Today with the Internet you can learn from just about anybody.

Yeah we all connive together and make fake testimonials and fake income statements

Honestly though, you think these testimonials and proof make themselves? This is why communities like warrior forum, facebook groups have systems that has social approvement alerts like likes, thanks and comments. These are real people like you and me. I bust my rump helping people who are looking for solutions for months to get those case studies as proof that my coaching and system works.

Those testimonials didnt happen by themselves, I studied, applied on my own like a guinea pig, failed and failed and failed some more, then tweaked then finally made small success and needs to scale bigger. Recognizing this I know I need the help from my hard earned cash from my second job. Went full massive paid ads in many ways and made profits.

I repeat the tactic and made more success. Now I share the knowledge and gather testimonials from my student success.

Like basketball, lebron james loves to score but its much fulfilling to setup others and assist them to score as well.

This is what it takes to be a leader and if your mindset from the get go has doubts and scam written all over it, then it better to stick with your 16 hour day job.

Get out if your comfort zone!

Some of them are lying about what they make. A few people really do make that kind of money, but you better believe it took them lots of time and effort to get to that point. And, that's the thing you must understand.

Yes, it's possible to make a steady income from setting up an online business, but the online world is no different than the offline one. You need to do some research on what type of online businesses appeals to you. You need to pick ONE of those business models to follow. You need to gather information and resources that help you set up that business model.

Adapt a mindset of helping people improve their lives in some way.

You need to take action and set up the online business.

You need to take steps to promote your online business.

Be patient and wait as you see what works and what doesn't work.

Oh, and it helps if you actually have a real interest in the niche you are in.

So, now it's time to figure out what you're going to do - if anything.

There's no quick and easy way to earning a full-time income online that will replace your current job. I sympathize with you, because I used to have a really stressful job too that I couldn't wait to escape. However, while I was working I was also learning all I could about online marketing, trying different online business models and learning from my mistakes. This takes time.

However, if you have a lot of drive and determination, you can move a lot faster to reaching your goal of quitting your job.

My advice is to use this forum wisely in your free time to research all of the above and make a decision to act on something. We can't do it for you.

you need to take action, plain and simple. If you don't know what action to take look around on this forum. there are several ways to make an online business work, pick an online business model, and take action.

Don't get caught up in the "next big thing" hunt or you will never be successful. You do have one great advantage, it seems like you make enough money to at least get you started online. You may need some tools, software, autoresponder service, hosting, website theme...etc Compare these startup costs with starting up an actual brick and mortar business and it is basicall nothing.

If you work hard for 3-6 months, you WILL see results and start getting closer to your goal of making it full time online.

There is no such thing as a passive income. We all have to generate revenue are working hard. However my advice would be to find something you're passionate about and turn that into a money making scheme. So if you enjoy blogging incentivise your blog. If you like writing books creed your own e-book and market it directly to customers. Find your unique selling point or you USP and exploit it.

a mentor is the best decision you can make, continued investment in your education online alighment with the right people ( the movers and shakers ) can open up doors faster than going it alone.

If starting out fresh you must start with the basics - Building a list ( the right way )

the only thing that has helped me make a consistent income reliably is having my own marketing funnel where I sale my own information based products.
