Launching Information Products without a Blog or Existing Reputation?

Hey Guys,

I'm interested in launching information products in the form of ebooks and video courses.

I see lots of stuff floating around on platforms like JVZoo, Warrior Forum, Clickbank etc.

But I wanted to ask:

Is it possible to sell information products without a blog or existing reputation?

AND is it still possible to do so when you host the product on your own site rather than selling on a platform like clickbank

Thanks!

To sell ANYTHING all you need is targeted traffic. So if you can
get traffic without using any other platform then for sure. The
main reason for using the platform you mentioned is to get
    affiliates.

I think it almost certainly is.

There are hundreds of vendors of successful ClickBank products who didn't have an existing reputation at all, when they started there.

Almost all ClickBank products have their sales pages hosted on their vendors' own sites, with ClickBank hosting only the payment-page (which they have to host).

    Hi warriors,
i think these platforms are very usefull for affiliation, they will permit to set up an affiliation program and get others to promote your product.
You can sell your product directly with paypal without using these plateforms but you can't set up an affilation program with paypal.

So, I think the great benefit of these sites is affiliation.

    Good luck.

Sure - the challenge becomes getting the right combination of targeted traffic AND giving yourself time to test/tweak your sales page and sales funnel.

With blog traffic and/or existing list, the traffic will tend to be somewhat less targeted, but costs you nothing but your time...paid traffic can be very targeted but expensive and partner traffic can be best of both worlds (targeted and cost you nothing...but you need to convert or that partner traffic will dry up)

What you want to do is use some very targeted approaches to getting traffic in order to quickly test and refine your sales page/funnel

I would suggest a mix of very controlled paid traffic (Facebook ads, Google ads, Banner ads, solo ads can all work for this) with some early partner traffic where you forge a relationship with that partner and let them know this is Phase 1 for your launch giving them a larger commission to help you with your early launch.

Product creation is one of the best ways to start from scratch.

People say affiliate marketing is the best, but the EASIEST way to make money as an affiliate is to tap into your already existing audience.

Naturally, creating your own products really helps establish your audience.

Most people outside of internet marketing won't eve know about Clickbank and won't really care so long as the product does something good for them.

Focus on the benefits and how your product can benefit the customer and they'll buy from you. And, they won't care who your payment processor is, whether Paypal or Clickbank.
