I get around 2,500 visitors a month to my main site from organic Google results. Last month I made 10 sales totalling $251 and had 154 verified opt-ins. This is all from traffic coming in cold from Google. My autoresponder content has taken me longer than I anticipated to get together, so I'm giving a free download as an incentive to opt-in but there's nothing in my actual autoresponder sequence at present. So I guess my question is...When people say their pages convert at 1%, do they mean they get their conversions from cold traffic coming in, or is it a combination of that AND people coming to the page from mailouts to their list?
Is it really possible for a site to convert at 1%?
