Video versus ebook WSOs: Differences in results

Do you guys see any big difference in results between ebook WSOs and Video WSOs? By video WSO, I am referring to the content of the WSO presented in a series of videos.

Is there a higher level of engagement with videos? I've noticed that there are many video WSOs that involve a narrator reading a slide presentation. Is this engaging enough? Is this the optimal use of the video format?

I don't like it when video is used just to create perceived value.

I only use it if its required. Like a technical tutorial or as an example.

I have one of each - one video product and 1 PDF - that are offered as WSOs right now. I haven't noticed a difference in customer engagement really.

In both instances, I cover the subjuct at hand.

No one medium is better than the other. They complement each other.

I like it when I have the pdf version + the video version + the audio version.

If the video is high quality and helpful - i.e. to illustrate something, I always find them useful and more personal. A PDF allows for fast reading and to search for specific points though so I always prefer to have both.

Everyone learns different. So include a pdf for people who like to learn via words and a video for people who like to learn by watching.

You can strip tthe audio off then to make a MP3 too.

    Hi,

I believe there are people that have the time to watch a video ( if done well ) and people that want to first give your salescopy a fast read.

Now based on this, I would do a video and below the video, the sales copy text content, this way, you get to keep the people that is ok with watching videos and people that are more likely to need more persuasion.

    Cheers,
    Darius
