Hello to all
I'm just another newbie asking for your time and advice. I wrote a testimonial on a the hosting site my wife uses. I wrote this for newbies. I wrote my about experience with the hosting company and why I recommended them.
I would appreciate any and all advice on what you think about the page how I can improve it. The site is cheapreliablehosting.blogspot.

Thank all of you for the help

Hi, I've had a look at your review of the hosting site and if I were a newbie I would find this really helpful.

One thing you may consider is having some graphics on the page - just to break up the text.

You could use SnagIt (or similar software) to take a screen shot of the website's home page to make it a little more user friendly and reinforce your message.

    Good luck!

It's just a bare bones blog. It's a start but there's not much to comment. Have you been working towards getting links? And traffic?

Also, you borked your first link.

    Hey

I suggest you add in some pictures so that it doesn't look that wordy. If you would like to, you can also compare it with other hosting you use. Some links at the sidebar are not needed, you can remove them in case they bring the readers away from the page. Hope this helps

    Hey newby31,

I don't mean to sound negative but thing that struck me is, you're talking about hosting and you're recommending.... and yet... you're writing the review on a blogger blog.

I'd find your testimonial more credible if you actually had a site with that host.

I've reviewed a hosting company and I actually host of of my sites with them, and I've got quite a few sites.

Thanks so much for the help.I put this on blogger because the site I host with hostmonster is my wives site and it is geared toward women. I didn't think this would fit in. I see what you mean. I have to learn more about graphics and the tech side of web design.
I thank all of you for taking your time to help me out.
I will keep reading this forum and keep learning all I can.
    Thanks again

I think this is a bare bones start.

Here's what I'd due to improve it.

    1. Host site on web host you recommend (already stated but VERY true)

    2. When you ask for a review make sure links work (already stated again but true b/c most people will just go away)

    3. Get a new them b/c this one is boring and hard on eyes (people won't last on this link in this era of flashy sites and Internet ADD)

    4. Your review is good...maybe break it up into articles where you focus on different areas of their site

More content= more links in google= more potential sales

    5. In my opinion, #4 is key. I think it'd be more interesting to read an article on the payment terms, another on bandwidth, one on user interface, etc. This isn't something done but you put an affiliate link at the end of each article and you're good.

Hope that gives you some ideas!

    Cheers,

    Brad
