Unlimited Support Or Set Time - What's Your Preference?

We all know that support is an important part of customer service, but there are some who only offer 3 months support for there products.

It got me thinking if we should offer unlimited support, but not quite sure if this would be a sensible decision.

How long do you offer support for your products?

If you offered 12 months support and a customer asked for support 15 months later, then would you give them it?
