The best way to earn money while learning how to make money is to work as a freelancer to sites like getafreelancer and help other webmasters.

There are several methods on here that you can learn how to make money online. Not that any is better than the other. You just need to check them out do your research to see which one you would love to venture into.

Once you find one, look for a warrior that is successful in that area and get every product they have and try to learn all their methods.

However, you must stick to one method. Moving around is a road map to failure.

Here are some methods you can look into:

1. Affiliate Marketing- Sell other products for a share of the profits.

Via- Article Marketing
or
Via- Paid advertising (ppc)

2. CPA Marketing- don't really have to sell any product. Some offers all you need to do is to get someone to fill out a form with their name and email addresses.

3. Product creation- Creating your own products.

4. Adsense- build websites and place andsense ads on them to get paid when someone click on the ads.

5. Website flipping- build websites and then sell them for high interests.

There are many more but you can start researching the above.

Yesacpow hit the nail on the head. Find a system and stick with it. bouncing around following the latest "silver bullet" is the sure way to end up making nothing. There is no silver bullet (at least I ain't found it yet). I kind of tend towards making your own products, but that is just me. In the final analysis, it is all about marketing anyway whether it is your product or someone elses product.

But while you are in the interim go to a bunch of them outsource sites like rentacoder, elance and sign up and bid on jobs. I would guess there is a lot of work for sql experts.

If you want to avoid lots of confusion and info-overload start by researching online business models to discover one that right for you, piece together or purchase the step by step info necessary to conduct the model and then get busy doing so.

Newbes are darn lucky these days so get busy taking advantage.

Since it appears you have experience/expertise in SQL databases, you might consider offering your services on freelancing sites (as mentioned previously by "easylearning") as well as here in the "services" section.

This might give you some income while you learn a bit more and figure out which path you want to take.

Also, if you know the problems that most webmasters have concerning SQL databases then you might consider compiling that information in a short report or ebook and offering it to those who would benefit from your knowledge.

Just lurk around the forums here and soak up the various methods good - and bad(to avoid them). Then once you have your strategies and tactics right (my favourite term now!), start taking ACTION!
