If your product sucks don't take it out to the market yet. You better wait until you perfect your WSO and make it REALLY VALUABLE for people who pay their hard earned money for it.

The problem with most people is that they want to make money, want to have a WSO, want to be a celebrity in their niche, but they don't want to work hard on providing value for their customers.

Be different, make a change in people's life and they'll not only pay for your product, but will buy ANY product you may be offering in the marketplace for the rest of your life.

Absolutely! Zig Zigler said "You can have everything you want in life if you just help others get what they want"

No one can say how many sales you'll get, but you can get quite a few if your product has real value...and your sales copy is at least 'good'.

The amount of sales that can be generated is infinite...

Seriously though, if you have an intriguing title, you can expect at least a couple thousand views within the first few days. How many sales you make is completely up to you. How engaging is your offer, are you offering something special, or something that 10 other people are doing?

Time is money - Always. Unless you have a stellar product that is in high demand, I would not rely strictly on forum views for sales. The amount of time put in Vs the amount you'll make off a few sales won't be worth it. You need to drive traffic to it. Whether that's affiliates or doing it yourself.

    It depends who you are.

In principle, though, it's like any other sales-page: if you drive enough targeted traffic to it, and it converts well, you make money.

Don't imagine that "just being listed in the Warrior Forum" is in itself necessarily going to make it profitable, though. That can happen if some combination of factors arises ...
    • you're already well-known and well-respected here by the local traffic
    • there's particular demand for what you're selling
    • you have good affiliates with responsive email lists
    • you pay to "bump" the thread frequently to try to catch "casual traffic"
    • you pay to "sticky" the thread
    ... and so on.

    Without
some combination of those factors, it's very unlikely to sell itself.

Also, having testimonials in the thread from well-known, respected, trusted Warriors who have both (a) bought and paid for the product and say so (essential!) and (b) used it and commented on the results they've achieved with it, is probably the "single biggest factor" in how appealing it is.

I think that criterion is probably even more important than the sales post.

There are many WSO's listed with endorsements only from unknown Warriors who post only in the WSO folder to offer incentivized "review-copy reviews" and clearly haven't yet had time to use whatever-it-was; understandably, those products/services tend barely to sell at all, as is fairly evident from their threads. It may well even be that "testimonials" of that kind are actually a liability, rather than an asset.

The WSO section traffic is pretty good and you can get a few sales with no promotion to your WSO, but if you want tens or hundreds of sales you need affiliates/promotion.
