Was just looking at the WSO section, been a while since I did a WSO and it looks like they have totally integrated their own system now. So no more free WSO's?

It's still possible to post a free WSO via this link:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/newthrea...newthread&f=17

That being said... Rumor has it that there is going to be a specific "Free WSO" section appearing pretty soon.

For that reason, I have been holding off on releasing any free WSO's. (I used to love launching them hehe).

I think you could still launch them, technically, for the time being. (I've seen a few of them pop up recently, but perhaps it's better to ask Alaister, or wait for the new free WSO section that is evidently looming?).

This seems like a great idea in my opinion.

Yup, Sarevok took the words out my mouth.
I'll be using that link to launch my WSO soon.

A free WSO section would be a terrible idea! Freebie seekers would flock it and it would be useless for list building.

That link is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

    Hey Brett,

There are supposed to be new WSO rules posted this week...or soon anyway.

It sounds like they will be setting up a dedicated "freebies" forum.

Hope the freebies forum won't detract from the WSO forum. Looking forward to the updates.

  • No way can a free WSO section be good. Look at the War Room now, it's completely worthless with everyone just slapping up shit content to get attention.

The forum has gone to pot. Only decent part is the sections where you can't post free offers.

Agree with Declan. Free WSO forum = bad for business. The only thing one would get from listing a free WSO in a dedicated forum would be a garbage list resulting from garbage traffic.

It's not the size of the list that matters...... but the QUALITY.

I've stopped running free WSOs years ago because the lists sucked. Now I only run paid (but cheap) offers and have built buyer lists.

Those buyer lists are WAAAAAY BETTER.

I vote no on the free WSO forum.

      PS

I share your sentiments on the War Room too. It's full of "me too" crap now. I paid 7 bucks for life time access YEARS AGO. If I paid $97 for 1 year..... I'd be PISSED.

The only bad thing about this is once you get a free wso section up, EVERYONE and their mother will be bombarding you to download their new wso if you join their list. Join their list among others and the you just get a bunch of worthless unresponsive (ghost) followers for your list.

What good is it to have a list of 10,000 if 99% of them have no interest in really seeing or wanting what you have to say/offer. It's not like they aren't being spammed everyday with all the other lists they're apart of.

List building is really a science because it's not just about getting any 'ol followers. I can't see Free WSOs being that beneficial for anyone list building.

It's one thing to have a free wso or two, but it's another to just keep pasting them up there and giving away your stuff. Then everything becomes valueless.

    Keep this in mind

A free WSO section would probably take a lot of business away from their paid WSO section. Let's face it. The average person trolling through the WSO forum is a newbie opportunity seeker looking for free or very cheap magic bullets. They'd be all over the free forum.

Hope they have thought this one through properly...

Actually, think about it. It will help as all the freebie seekers will go to the free WSOs, leaving with serious, targeted buyers for the actual WSO forum.

Freebie seekers will always be freebie seekers till they realized that nothing is free in making money online and their mindset will be "promoted" to visiting paid WSOs...

Why not just put the FREE WSOs in the War Room? Some guy who said that the freebie WSOs will take some of the thunder of Paid WSOs is on to something. By putting a pay barrier at least there's some filtering for freebie seekers.
