I've been looking for a profitable niche because the ones I picked I don't think are. So I get a WSO and two other offers that claim to deliver profitable niches and keywords, but everyone provides a totally different list of niches and keywords. Is it just the person's own experience with niches that makes them profitable? Is there an anthority site that will provide this information?

    Hello OP,

Niche selection is the most important step to being profitable with niche sites. I do give some insight in my free Adsense course. There is nothing to buy and you might pick up some valuable niche selection tips. Oh, and nobody's going to give away their profitable niches. It's like giving you the keys to their house. Good luck.

If somebody is selling you a list of profitable niches then that is what I expect to receive, if they don't want to give away profitable niches then they should not be taking my money. I paid money to be told the number one profitable niche of all time is learn how to play checkers. Yea, right. My three year old can play checkers.

If you want to find a profitable niche then you need to look for a niche where there are lots of hungry and motivated buyers.

One thing I like to do is to see how many people are advertising in a particular niche.

So I may go to Google and search for web hosting. On the right-hand side of the page I will see a list of sponsored links. If there are lots of links in this list then I know there are that many advertisers.

At the bottom of the list I may see a link that says More Sponsored Links. If you click that link and see how many pages it goes on for you will get an idea of how many people are seeking to advertise in this niche.

Web hosting is very profitable for some and therefore there are a a lot of people looking to advertise in the niche.

You can do the same thing with any niche.

Just pick the one you think is easier for you and start.

Advice: never enter a niche when you can broadcast your high priced backend and continuity program.

You may want to print the above sentence...

    Franck

Sorry, I read this sentence three times and still don't understand what you want to say. Can you explain?

(maybe it's because English is not my first language)

Do you understand the basics of keyword research so you can make your own assessment? If not, I would suggest that this may be a good place to start.

After that, I would suggest looking at your hobbies and expertise and see if there is a way to monetise this.

The reason I say that you may want to look at your current interests and expertise is that it will be easier to stay motivated through the learning phases until you become profitable.

Yesterday I was told bonsai trees is the number 1 profitable niche. I don't know anything about bonsai trees and I have no desire to create a site about it.
