Hosting in Australia. Anyone?

Hi
We need to host our website in AU. What are your guys feedback there with the hosting companies? Please only write if you have direct experience with any local host in the AU that is reliable and fast as well as good prices.

    I've used VPS.net for a long time, and they offer hosting all around the world. They have multiple locations in AU.

    If you've got the technical chops, Amazon Web Services has a Sydney-based availability zones. I use (and absolutely love) their US-based services, but if you don't have someone on your team who knows anything about DevOps, I wouldn't recommend it.

    That said, there may be AWS-resellers out there who might be able to get you more of a managed service based in the Sydney availability zone. Unfortunately, I've never used any of those myself, but it might be worth looking into...
