I have noticed more and more websites not displaying a 'BUY' button on their home page; thereby forcing a user to enter the 'product details' page before allowing the client to 'add to cart'. Can anyone explain the reasoning or study behind this? I was always under the belief that we want the client to have the fastest option towards checkout.
